Beyond Eden

apple blossoms are not yet on the tree
but soon, perhaps
after another week of nights

and summer will follow
waiting and radiant—
then blossoms bear and leaves fall

first you
but soon, I too will follow—
surrender to harvest

and another daughter will kneel here
to pray

Kris -

It's nice to see you writing again - a great way to channel your passion and pain. I also am reminded of the Oriental way in which you use words that represent the seasons to enhance the feelings of time and continuity through the seasons.
