Hi all !!

Things are still looking up. At 6 weeks, I was cleared to return to work on a part time basis. My very patient & gracious employer said he was glad to have me back in any capacity, so back to work I went! First week went about 5 hours a day. Just started week two today, doing about 6 hours. Plans are to start back full time next week. Now mind you, I have a position that involves driving a desk most of the time, which is the only thing that allowed my return.  I still have lifting restrictions and have to be aware and cautious around large groups, kids, sick folks, etc., but at least I'm out and about. Plus, I've discovered my brain still works! These are not heroic measures, and I'm not "pushing my luck", but when I realized that I knew most of the channels on Directv by heart,
it was time to get back out in the world!

Seriously, things are going great, thanks to great docs, nurses, coordinators, a loving and supportive family, and one helluva wife!!

And of course, I can't close without thanking god and my wonderful, unknown but constantly thought of, donor family.

Thoughts and Prayers for those getting ready,
Bill

No...not me.

The inspiration - my family (especially my wonderful wife)
The Hero - my donor and his or her family
Me - I'm just the luckiest guy I know. And truly blessed!

Thanks for the kind thoughts and words though!
