I think it is going to be OK.  My ex went through a scare like this once.  They wanted to do a double mastectomy...... circa 1983 give or take.  She decided to wait it out, the lump disappeared and she forgot about it........until one day she was at the hospital; visiting someone and she bumped into the same doctor who threatened...... promised a certain death if she didn't do the surgery.

She said....." you remember me?  Cause I sure remember you."

That was a long time ago.  nearly half a lifetime ago in this case.  They have far better methods of detection now.  I sure how that it works out.  Keep us up to speed on the news.....

The results will probably be in on Monday Willy.  I'm guessing that if they are o.k. the surgeon will me and tell me over the phone ... if they are not they may not tell me over the phone and may have me come in to discuss them.  I really didn't realize that they wee going to make an incision... I thought they just put a needle and and out that was it.  Bill has to take the steri strips off on Saturday night and they left it up to me whether or not I want to stop by the radiology facility on Monday for a wound check.  Since I already have an appointment scheduled with my PCP on the 15th I'll just let him do the wound check.

I slept all the Xanax off yesterday  .   The biopsy itself wasn't bad at all ... once the numbing stuff wore off that was another story.   Today is certainly one of those days that I was packing me a pair of 38 A's and not a pair of 38 D's.
