Getting really tired of fat requirement but only six more weeks until healthy and sane eating schedule returns.

I have noticed I lack a lot of reserve energy and the same flight of stairs I always take has gottem much taller, but no real daily impact.

Currently in Miami getting a trauma certification.  Drove down fine, had class all day and am keeping up with those that have years of experience over me.  Tomorrow class/test/skills and you can bet I will pass, then I'll grab wife and drive home.  Point only being treatment is not interfering with school and/or work, least not yet.

Have no additional lab values yet, but put off cbc until Monday.

Occasionally I do get a touch of vertigo, it is odd, only last a second and is more like a petit mal seizure than anything.  Kinda of odd but has happened every time I treat.  I have been monitored, nothing, checked pulse, bp, O2, all normal so no one has figured it out.  Still only had serious nausea once and suspect that had little to do with meds.  The rear end burn still there but much milder form and for most it disappears entirely.  No brain fog, no major mood swings, really nothing of major import.

However I have to be honest, I expect this to get worse.  I find 12 weeks is more representative of how treatment will go, and I am not there yet.

Glad to hear nothing major medical happening. I think that helps with the mental aspect as well. You are a trooper Doug and I am hoping all goes well. I have an appointment later this month and who knows.. maybe will treat again myself. Take care of yourself and good luck on your trauma test.

Thanks for the update Doug.  Sounds like your doing great.  I seem to be following all of your symtoms.  Will get my 4 week labs drawn on Tuesday.  I woke up feeling a little lack of air this morning, but that seemed to clear right up, but I do tire more quickly.

Did okay on test, 88.  If I had only known iv lidocaine pre-intubation might reduce ICP...

Aced senario driven skills though, he would have lived.  Cheesy. Held my own against seasoned pros,   Go again in ten days for four day class, critical care nursing, see how two more weeks of treatment does to me.  Hopefully not much as back to school right after that.

So far so good...

Doug,
What was your abs. nuetraphil count if I may ask??  At week 4 I am at 2.0  Is this a problem??? Doctor I saw today said 1.5 was cutoff, but that was regular doctor, not my GI.

Thanks,

Ray,

Didn't chenk ANC, mine drops but has never been issue so don't pay that much attention.  Get only simple CBC weekly so won't do full set of labs for another couple weeks.

Betty, one more semester and forever.  One more to get RN, but plan on starting BSN next fall and have two easy courses, statistics and communication, I need to get out of the way before that.

Betty, Did you do the test again to see if the count was still high?
I have my fingers crossed! Waiting and wondering...

Take Care
