Friday the 11th I broke into my last shipment of drugs.  Three and a half weeks to go.  That probably is two more transfusions, three shots, 150 more Riba pills, and all over but the waiting.

Soon I gotta break out sunglasses 'cause that light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter.

Hope so Willy.  1st time I didn't expect much.  2nd time due to being pulled off at 39 weeks and knowing odds before that poor so I really expected to fail but that round with daily shots, twice weekly Procrit and a total of 17 units packed RBC, but that failure while expected was hard.

This will be my last time on riba/ifn so unless a new pill only tx is approved I am done.  But this time I believe and I know I have done all I can.  If it fails again I will be devastated.  Until then though that of course is why I have chosen the extremes I have, there will be not a single pill reduced.  Two days I forgot my evening pills so by the end so out of a max possible of 1176 pills I will manage only 1170' which if I did math right is a compliance rate of 99.49%.  If that don't do it, nothing will.

Doug, I heard a vertex higher up say that if they could keep everybody on full dose they would expect better than 90% success rate.  I'd say you are that (compliant)

The fact that you hit the 4 week point (was there an earlier PCR?) means you are right in the groove where you should be.

I see TMC 435 is done or about done w/ phase 3 trials.  They are reporting about a 90% success rate.  I am wondering what the aggregate success rate is w/ TVR in the first year.  Recall.....that during the trials there was no such talk about high fat.  I never head it read it when I was approved in phase 3, so I think that is new and could impact on success rate.  Ya have to wonder why not w/ Victrelis, since they should be very similar.

Smooth sailing ahead I hope & I am pulling for you.
