Hey Willy good to hear from you again.

Yeah, everything is going excellent so far - finished treatment on the 26th of December last year. Here's the update.

Jan 9 met a new girl, fell in love...such a relief since my whole marriage/divorce fiasco last year. It's May and we're still going strong.

All of January and February - side effects still lingered, but with much less intensity.  End of February I tried a cleansing diet made by a company called Isagenix to get that stuff out of my system. It worked pretty well.

Celebrated my 31st birthday on Easter. Is it all downhill from here now?  Cheesy

I was suppose to get my first liver panel test in March, but missed my Dr appointment so it got moved to April 29. Found out on Tuesday last week that all my levels had returned to normal - don't know the numbers yet, they just sent me a sheet that said every thing had returned to normal. I'll let you know on that.

My 6 month post treatment PCR is at the end of July - crossing fingers for great results. It should be good though, I feel great now. Did a second cleansing diet last week, I feel really light internally...no more fatigue, shortness of breath, itching, joint/muscle pain, or eye problems. I'm starting to feel like a million bucks again.

So for all you guys getting close to the end - hold on tight, there IS light at the end of the tunnel. I know that Penney and Marina should be finishing up in less than a month right? I know that there are a couple more of you are almost there, sorry I couldn't name everyone else.

For all the newbies I see that have joined, try not to worry about it too much...it will all be over sooner than you think, expect great things and great things will happen.  I was a 1b on the 48 week tx, and did the Pegasys/Co-peg tx with a plethora of alternative herbal and dietary supplements. I also included some meditation, tai-chi, acupuncture, and massage in my regiment.

I also changed my diet a little during the tx to mostly vegatarian at first, but then said the hell with that and ate what ever I wanted (within reason) for the last 7 months of tx. Lots-o-water and excercise helped lessen the intensity of the side effects. Go get some sunlight this summer, it helps your immune system tremendously (try not to get burned - that doesn't help) I always felt better for a couple of days after getting some good sun. Do, read, or watch things that will make you laugh, this helps with the depression caused by the sides - it too is also good for your immune system.

Hope everything goes well with all of you - I will be lurking this board from time to time over the next couple of weeks if you have any questions about stuff or just need support from someone who has been there done that.

Good luck, love, and peace.
Shawn
