Below is the vitamin, diet, and added protein regiment that I have been on since I was diagnosed with HepC. My problem right now is that I have read that some vitamins are better taken hours after a meal and not combined with certain vitamins. I remember reading these statements however; not sure which ones were mentioned. Does anyone here know if there is a rule? I would appreciate any comments on this regiment or if I am way out there with this or wasting my money?? Plus, if there is something else that could be added for liver health…

Milk Thistle
Multi Vitamin w/o Iron
Vitamin C
Wheat Germ Juice Capsules
Cat’s Claw (Una De Gato)
Natural Vitamin Dry E
Bee Propolis Extract

The below regiment was added to promote healing from surgery – recommended by surgeon-
Zinc
Coenzyme Q-10
MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane)
Alpha Lipoic Acid
L-Carnitine

I try to fit in at least once a day Designer Whey Protein (I mix ˝ cup of plain yogurt w/live cultures & ground flaxseed and Soy Milk) I also eat 3 Brazil nuts a day. I read it was good for you and cheap. I try to drink at least 64 ounces of water with fresh lemon(when I have it) a day. I also try to limit red meat, dairy and fried foods. Lately, that has been a challenge because of being laid up after surgery and find that my energy level made it hard to make my special meals plus the meals for my family. Now that I am getting back on my feet and getting my energy back I have been making most of my special meals and not eating what my husband makes or buys from fast food places….
