Keepin On, Keeping On!

« on: June 22, 2004, 10:42:46 AM »

In many ways, the time comes along
when paths no longer intertwine.
Laughter and tears are moments.
Sharing fades away, embracing of new beginings.
Atonomy, moving brothers and sisters along.

Pastures can join many close
or they are hectres apart.
Butterflies itch the tummy
with tickles of joy and even sometimes fear.
Sadness for loss
becomes an experience to behold,
for growth provides
opportunity,
to again share our lives.

Tear drops struggle to the top
flowing to the surface
glistening the eyes.
Standing brave we do
acting in love.
With hope and faith on each side.
Waiting for paths
to once again
cross paths.

Often one never know
when the straightening will dawn.
When all of a sudden
there we stand
hand in hand.
Refreshing a lost love
arriving in a breeze
shining from the lamp of life.
Sparking calm in a smile
igniting passion in hearts.

On we travel
in search
of peace
in the place.
Creation has set aside
as water to the wild
waiting to quench our thirst.

Thanks Joni and Robin! Smiley

This is Canada, we have class distinction in the literary world!lol Smiley Local publications, a little here a little there over the years. I've got boxes of the stuff! Huh Cool Grin Other than that I pretty well keep it locked up sorta speaking. But this forum is giving me the desire to write.

I'll leave ya with this:

Touching Life

The breeze is crisp
The trees colourful
The wild gathering
a winters stock.

The light of day is late
The shadow of night is early
Resting becoming
A cycle
turned again.

An awakening feeling
clearing the way for stillness
Another season dawning
new beginings.

Life
The wilderness springs
untouched territory
Just as being human
coming to know oneself.

What joy in dreaming!
