I need meds for my mom in Russia

guys--maybe somebody can help me out. my mom is in Russia, in Siberia, she is on her 4th month of therapy.  we cannot buy medication over there so i have to look for it over here.  we need 5 more months of Pegasys and ribavirin for her.  
maybe some of you has any leftovers after the treatment? i would buy it.

Welcome in Julia. God, that has to be tough. I don't know where you can come up with the meds other than through prescription, but good luck. If she has already had 3 or 4 months of med's, what happened to keep her from getting the rest? I think if you made contact with Scherring Plough maybe they can help out. I know they have a free thing for folks who can't afford the med's, so maybe they would be willing to help her, since she's already gone the 3 or 4 months taking med's. I think it's called the "Be in charge" program or something like that. I don't have their number but I'm sure a Gastroenterologists office could supply you with that.

Your mother is in my prayers. I hope she's laying off the Vodka and drinking a lot of clean water, too. I'm so sorry that she can't be here with you now. That would certainly make things easier for the two of you.

I understand your anxiety to get the drugs, please remember it is illegal for anyone to pass on a prescribed med unless the other person has the same script.  I would try some of the pharmicutical companies, joris stated one...............Goood Luck

I'm sorry about your Mom's situation, that is tough.  

I have to agree with Jfuny about passing meds to each other, it is illegal.

Without her name on the prescription, no one can do that.  I work in a field where lots of meds are taken, and know we have to destroy any unused medication with 2 people present to witness it.  otherwise we lose our license to operate, at the least.

But do contact the pharmacutical companies, they do sometimes provide free meds to those who cannot afford them.  A co-worker of mine is receiving hers that way.
