OK, - Thanks, I just started and theres so much info its overwhelming.
I was recently diagnosed as Type 1b after thinkinking I had asthma for 3 years. i've probably been HVC positive for 20 years without knowing it and sure did freak me out. My liver enzymes have been high for years but none of the doctors thought anything of it. I got a new doctor in March and he's like Sherlock Holmes. He wouldn't stop till he discovered had Hep C. He sent me to a Liver doctor and when he checked my genotype. I also was found to have hereditary hemochomatosis. I'm undergoing blood letting now every 3 weeks to get my Iron level down and I started on  the Chinese herbs from Dr Zhang - Healing Hepitis C with Chinese Medicine about 3 weeks ago. I going for bloodletting tommorow and for A & B vaccinatioins next week. It is good to see there are others in the same boat I'm in.

Yes, very important, no one shoe for every foot after all. When I spoke to my doc about trying some herbals and vitamin regimens she told me to be cautious of where the extract the supplemts from and to make sure when putting them together one or another item doesn't add up to too high a dosage. With any of the drugs, supplements or whatever be sure to keep a file of ingredients and possible sides. Iome things may not be listed on the lable. It'll say 50% rda of protein but not the source. You can find out on the internet though. We don't want to add bad interactions to our other woes. Gosh, I definately sound like an old mom. Guess that's what I am,

OK...Hank....I understand pig latin but what kind of code-talk is OBIE KABIE...I thought you were going to write "Obiwankanobe" out of Star Trek for a moment and had to re-read it. Dang...my eyes are bad...Keep your spirits high...robin

Ever heard of Hobbin Jobber? Tom speaks that and the only thing I can figure out is a couple of dirty words. He talks it to the cats and they understand him...Go figure...  Grin
