Hi  everybody , this following is a report that
described the senegalese approach.

VIRAL HEPATITES

One distinguishes several viral hepatites types: old
hepatitises A and B, those in full extension, new hepatitises, not A
not B, C and Delta. The medical works abound in data of fundamental sciences: constitution
of the virus, structure of the genome, nature of the antigens of
surface or deeper, mechanism of attack of the hepatic cell, variations
of serology during the infection, analyses biological, tests of
tracking of the carriers of virus, etc....

But on therapeutic level, a disappointment awaits us. Western medicine does not have treatment against hepatitises. The tests implemented with the antiviral ones, corticoids, interféron
proved to be ineffective and certain dangerous, involving phenomena of
rebounds and risks of complications.

What is it in traditional medicine of Senegal?

The tradipraticians and tradipraticians, with the bottom of the bush,
did not have of laboratories, microscopes, sophisticated means. They however found the solutions therapeutic.

How they arrived since times extremely moved back to work out
treatments of a great effectiveness for the various clinical cases:
are hepatitises of usual gravity, hepatitises gravissimes, chronic
hepatitises evolving/moving with low noise and their complications,
the cirrhoses when they at their beginning?
It is a true mystery!

Which one of the mental approaches, observations, the
Intuition they had?
- Did they had a particular receptivity?
It is difficult to answer it.

In Senegal, the treatments vary according to areas'. They comprise mixtures of powders in maceration or to cook with
certain food, drinks of the current plants. It is important to know that simplified treatments negativate
carriers of virus of hepatitis B. There were students estimating itself in great danger and who had come
to find us. The conclusion which is essential is that any doctor conscious of his
responsibilities must address without delay a patient reached of
hepatitis - always serious in Africa - to a qualified tradipratician
in this field. They are numerous. Lists could be drawn up by their associations
