Lookin'Up

« on: May 05, 2003, 12:17:24 PM »

Huh  I am awaiting upon my next appointment with my GI to be briefed as to the results of my biopsy 9 days ago, but was told it reflected something like "stage 2" and "level 1 - 2 fibrosis ".

Does anyone know what that indicates or what that means? I am slightly anxious and am looking for some info on the internet but don't really know where to look for the answers...

Thanks in advance,

Thats not a bad score!!! Your doctor will probably want you to do treatment, to get the virus out of your body, but as far as damage wise.....its not that bad!

Here are some links for you to look at and read. Stay positive.....your gonna be just fine!!  Grin

I hope this can help ease your mind till your appointment where your doctor can tell you that himself!
And, my moms score was worse, and she is just fine and on her way to a healthy liver!
Good Luck to you, and keep your spirits high!

Sincerely,
Lori

I forgot to tell you that with each stage, and grade there are stages in each one.....for example.......if you are a stage 2....there are usually 4 stages to that 2, before you get to a 3......and that usually takes a while to progress. Have I confused you yet? I think I may have confused myself...lol
