Hi Linda, Angel!!!

Check out this website that's a non-profit organization involved with organ/tissue donation. Their name is "Lifesharers"
http://www.lifesharers.orgI got it from HCV Support so, thanks to Viper and Dj Turtle for the link.
http://hcvsupport.org/forum/index.phpHere's their Frequently Asked Questions link:
http://www.lifesharers.org/faq.aspThen scroll down to: the 5th
"Q" down from the top of the page:
"Is anyone barred form joniing Lifesharers due to any pre-existing medical condition?"
"A": "NO."
"Q": "Why are people who do'nt have organs that are suitable for transplantation allowed to join Lifesharers?"
"A": "No one knows whose organs will be transplantable in the future."
"Surgeons are now routinely transplanting lots of organs they would've rejected years ago. As the organs shortage continues to grow, many organs that would be rejected today will likely be accepted in the future."
Now I personally do not agree with these folks on principal but I do'nt want to get started on this debate again so, I'lll just say that it is important to look at all of the potential benefits, and potential pitfalls with respect to their approach towards organ donation. Look at both "sides of the coin" and by all means, play the "devil's advocate" when you analyze the details, statistics, specifics, and philosophy in order to make an informed decision as to whether or not this organization may become beneficial for you in the near future, or not!

Ultimately it comes down to one's own personal choice, and I'm not going to try to convince anyone otherwise!!! I have no right to do so, that is why I'm simply attempting to suggest that everyone read the "FAQ'S", all of the other posted information and especially the fine print!!!

Respectfully,
Hanklive39 Lives for Today and Tomorrow!!!
