alt 28 ast 33
I had only lasted 21 weeks on tx but thats all it took for me to slay that dragon.
Still haven't turned the corner on the health thing but I feel like I'm making some progress
with this new diet I'm on.
Keep the faith

I've been clear for over a year post treatment after a full year on Infergen--that's 52 weeks, none of that 48 weeks stuff. And for that matter, what's the deal with measuring time entirely in weeks anyway? What happened to months and years? Did the medical community misplace the weeks-to-months-to years conversion chart?

(((Emkins)))
1 Year SVR! That's Great! I have to make the appt. for my 1 year V/L (post-tx) anytime now that I am home from vacation. My 6 month post-tx test gave me an *Undetectable* and I am sure praying this next one does too. Well, I
know
you are relieved.
(((Earl)))
Good For You, too! 2 1/2 years...that's a pretty good stretch.
Lots of Love.....

4 yrs of SVR
pre TX---300,000 starting viral load
1b
ALT yo-yo between 75-150
liver status--pathologist did not stage, only reported biopsy findings
med---pegintron 150 /1200 riba --48 wks
first VL test @ 6mon was RNA <undetectable>
benefical extras--a quiet "leave me alone room"
a girlfriend who had completed TX for coaching and support ( did not last)
work to feel in control, and take the mind off it
xanax, xanax, xanax, and its family!
A good gastro (who I really valued after the fact)

Dear Luv2,
And what a wonderful nutshell it is! I, too, appreciated privacy. I did a year of treatment living alone, and I must say, I grooved on the silence!

Rock on!! You did it!! You've come so far in a few years. Now you will have your whole life ahead of you without the fear of HCV and cirrhosis ahead of you. I hope you start seeing some regeneration. I think you will.
best,

If you count my 6 mos. in to tx, I am a survior for 2 yrs. 2 mos. Whooooopie..... I don't even think about going in to get checked again after the first of the year. I just know that it will still be UNDETECTABLE....
Yes, I am a happy old bag.
