Oh Wow and Breathe again!

I know it has been hard to do this wait and see - I'll be the same way if I ever get there - LOL

I bet instead of mountain biking you are mountain airing.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy,

Great to see you on this list Max.  I remember when there were no geno 1's; kinda scary.

Soon there will be many many old friends on this list.

Thanks for posting and making the list bigger,

best

Mindy -

So many of us feel the same way. As a nonresponder, it gets a little trickier, but it doesn't seem to get better. There are times when I've been known to say it loud in a crowded restaurant with my friends. They made me promise to warn them next time.

It's a very isolating disease. On the one hand there is the lack of energy, on the other is the question of trying to look nice for a little outing so every one thinks you're lying.

I hate, hate, hate this dragon - for you, for me, for all of us and our families.

Hey guys,

I know its been a very long time but I thought I should check in.

Its been nearly 4 years since I completed treatment and achieved SVR. I was 1b with a 3 million initial viral load.

I just had my first PCR since the post treatment one year test, and still negative (<43 with QUANTITATIVE REAL TIME PCR )

I never checked in with my SVR one year, so I thought I would share.

Good luck to everyone,

Zoe

Thanks Jazz .... to say I'm soooooooooooo happy would be an understatement.  Can you believe it!!!!!  All of us who had extensive knowledge about this disease, including myself, had little faith that a third round would work.  Goes to show we don't know a much as we think we do and in this case that is a REALLY good thing.  I almost didn't do the third round LOL.

Missy

Congrats on your one year SVR that is wonderful after all the hard times that you have been throught these past several years.  I am not really looking for this upcoming treatment starting Nov 7th after the bad reaction I had with the Ribrivian last time.  Hopefully I have better results.  I have all my meds from the pharmacy delivered last week.
