I will be new to the meds. starting June 24th. I hear so much bad stuff, I really don't want to do this. I am type 1 and hear that it is the toughest to respond to meds. Anyone out there with that type that can give me some feedback? When I had the liver biopsy it said minimal damage so I didn't do anything for 3 years, since I found out. I thought since I had the insurance I should give it a try. Any suggestions!

Hi David,
I'm not quite sure , The Dr. said combo, which I think is Peg/reb. I will know for sure after my next appt. which is Tues. the 17th! I'll keep you posted!

Sufergirl,

Everything seems to point to Pegasys as the treatment of choice.  It will be interesting to see what the Dr has in mind.
