Board Use Tips

I will post a few pointers on how to use new features of the board. Any requests on how to do something please post them here..

To collapse and not see areas you are not intrested in just click on the triangle by the section name.



Click here to hide sections you are not intrested in.

How to post a picture.

Picture needs to be on your computer. There are other ways to post hosted pictures.

There is a size limitation if you get an error it is likely this.



Click on Additional Options...



Click browse



It will bring up a Windows Choose file window. Navigate to image on your system, click on it. Click the open button.
Thats it it will be attached to your post

If you want to attach more than one image click on more attachments it will make another browse button.

Make your post as normal and images will be at bottom of post.

Thanks for the tips! I'm sure they are very helpful. Even I, a computer-phobic  person tried.
Alas, I got lost as soon as I looked. But, really, thanks for your help. I'm certain that many will benefit. As for me, I'll muddle through. P.S. I like your website.

Man, it doesn't get any easier than that! I took that pic a long time ago while riding in my friends car... it was a couple of kids in the back of an El Camino and I just couldn't risk losing the moment! Timing is everything, so they say.

If anyone has a picture and can't figure out how to post it e mail it to me. Also post in what thread you want it in and copy and paste the address OR give me the title to the thread I can edit your post and add the pic.

Lefty....To access your profile you must be logged in.  Either go to the top of the page and find the "profile" tab along the top..... or find a post of yours.  Just click on your name....the one on the left hand margin that tells how many posts you've got.  You will then be on your profile page.

Once there by clicking....I think your control is either on the left hand side of the page (modify profile) or on the bottom.  You click that and then make any changes you want; change password, timezone information, birthday, avatars, byline, etc..... and then when it is correct just click change profile (I believe this is the wording).

You may also find help by clicking on "help" at the top of the page too.  Try it and leave a note if you need help.
