I was disapointed in this book.  It was written from a males point of view with lots of antidocts about his past and road trips.

He is also selling his products as a cure all when it is unknown scientifically speaking whether it really cures HCV.

I LIKED THE BOOK.  I AGREE IT WAS WRITTEN FROM A MALES POINT OF VIEW (I AM FEMALE) BUT HIS ANTIDOCTS MADE IT LIGHT READING AND SOMETIMES HUMOROUS.  I FOUND IT EASIER TO GET IN TO.  NOT SUCH HARD READING, BUT ALSO INFORMATIVE.  I AGREE THAT HIS "CURE" IS NOT SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN, BUT IF THE THINGS HE TALKS ABOUT CAN BE HELPFUL, THEN IT IS WORTH IT.  I HAVN'T SEEN SCIENTIFIC PROOF THAT INTERERON IS A CURE EITHER, SO  DOES IT REALLY MAKE SINCE TO DISREGARD ANOTHER FORM OF TREATMENT BECAUSE IT IS NOT?  I AM LOOKING FOR A TREATMENT FOR MY HUSBAND THAT IMPROVES HIS QUALITY OF LIVING, INSTEAD OF ONE THAT MAKES HIM WISH HE WERE DEAD.  IF THE HERBS DISCUSSED IN THIS BOOK CAN AID IN THAT, THEN I'M ALL FOR IT.
I DO THINK THAT TO GET ALL OF YOUR INFORMATION FROM ONE SORCE IS NOT SMART EITHER THOUGH, SO I HAVE SEVERAL OF THE BOOKS ON THIS LIST, AND I INCORPORATE DIET,LIFESTYLE AND HERBS FROM ALL OF THEM.

I am Lloyd Wright, I wrote the book and published the edition refered to 4 years ago. I have updated editions and a response book, Hepatitis C Free, The People Speak. Want proof, this is it.
I just told my story , what happened to me, how interferon failed and what I did to get well.
I put it on the net and the next thing I know, people want to do the same thing I did and want to know where to get the same things I used.
So I go to great lenghts to get them for the chepest prices I can and the best quality there is and I provide them for people who want them. I never planned this, it just happened and most people are very pleased with thier results.
I am sorry some people think it is a sin to provide products just because one writes a book. As I point out in the book, I had to pay 4 to 6 times more for the products I provide from a doctor and it makes me mad.
So I provide them with a low price guarantee.
Anyone who reeds this who would like a free book, call me or visit me on the web. I want you to know there are ways to deal with hep c other than interferon's.
Lets stop the suffering!
Thank You

CATCH 22 RIDES AGAIN!

By Robin Hemingway

Normally books on Alternative Medicine are boringly written, although they profess to tell you something that is good for you and your body. This book, however, after the obligatory forewords, begins like a Hunter S. Thompson ('Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas') tract of frightening dimensions and slowly, slowly levels out into a Dr. Feelgood text that anyone who has ever experienced the pain & suffering of Hepatitis 'C' sufferers at close range (if not one themselves), can benefit from.

Wright relates how a severe accident & the blood transfusions thereafter resulted in him contracting the deadly Hepatitis 'C' - His list of the illnesses & maladies to follow, kicking in like falling dominoes, reads like a 'Who's Who' of Nightmare. His accident (read the book for details), which occurred in Malibu in 1979, was the beginning of a trip into the Black Hole of incompetent doctors and well-meaning nurses who didn't know themselves what they were looking for that would make him well again. Tested for Hepatitis 'C' in July 1991 (the conclusive tests to determine the existence of Hepatitis 'C' in a person's body were only achieved in September of 1991!), his results were negative. Still trying to rid himself of a baffling sickness, in 1994 he made regular weekly visits to a blood bank where his blood was sucked out and supposedly discarded as toxic waste. Murphy's Law kicked in, and this discarded blood mistakenly appeared one day on a shelf with donation blood and was randomly tested. The blood bank sent him a form letter two months(!) later, saying they could no longer accept his blood for donations (!) because he had Hepatitis 'C!'

Lloyd Wright has changed his food consumption and lifestyle considerably since 1994. The result has been his saving himself from almost-certain death. In his book he lists the elements (Milk Thistle, Live Cell Therapy, Cats Claws, Dandelion Root, Aloe Vera, Licorice Root, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Reishi Mushrooms, etc.) which saved his life, and warns against items which could take (Hospitals - The 8th leading cause of Death in America!) your life. The book is available through Barnes & Noble, amazon.com or Lloyd Wright Publishing, P.O. Box 6347, Malibu, California 90264. There is a toll-free telephone: 1-877-676-1615. If no one answers, you hear a young woman's voice that says, "Welcome to Hepatitis-C-Free, your Alternative Medicine Pharmacy. We are probably on the phone....."MORE

Pushing the pocket bigger, Lloyd Wright has been invited to speak at the 29th Annual Cancer Conference to present his views on Alternative Medicine, his results and present several of his 'clients', who will also be in attendance. To be held at Universal City's Universal-Sheraton Hotel over the Labor Day Weekend (1,2,3 September 2001, $25. daily), Wright's findings are sure to open up some previously closed eyes, ears and minds.  Cool
While Lloyd Wright's book is obviously written by a male (because he is one) and includes some "side trips," Triumph Over Hepatitis C is an accessible story.  And Lloyd's triumph over Hepatitis C is something that I want to identify with.
After the first nine weeks on his program, my ALT dropped from 49 to 9.  My viral load, which had been running consistently at approximately 1,500,000, dropped over half.
I'll take the road trips with Lloyd.  I'll take the male perspective.  And I'll happily and gratefully take my new hep c scores along with it.
Plus -- the only side effect I've encountered from using the holistic treatment Lloyd used -- a combination of glandular and immune system booster along with liver regenerators -- was an awesome amount of energy and vitality from the first week on.

I also really enjoyed this book. It was honest, it was straightforward, it was written in the no-nonsense manner in which I like being addressed.  And it was far more informative than anything else I have read so far.

I appreciate that it was written by a guy who has actually been through this himself. I also appreciate that he has done all the research for me so now all I have to do is concentrate on getting well.

Hi All
Just wanted to let you know that I took Lloyd up on his offer.  Today I received two books in the mail absolutely free of charge.  This was a very generous thing to do.  I would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart.  Thank you Lloyd!!  Grin

Hello everyone...

I too, took Lloyd up on his offer, as well... I strongly suggest that those who read his post, do the same...
I emailed him, and recieved his 2002 revised addition of "Triumph Over Hepatitis C", as well as his new book, "Hepatitis C Free';
The people speak... I can't wait to read them!
I have also ordered Natcell, and his basic program...
I received the books two days after emailing Lloyd.
I recieved the frozen Natcell via fed-ex the next day. Am waiting for UPS to deliver the rest of the products that I ordered off his website, and then I will begin...
I emailed Lloyd with many questions. On several different occassions. He answered me promptly, and professionally, while still keeping it personal enough to make me feel like I was talking to a friend... His wife, called me at home to make sure that I would be here to sign for my Frozen Natcell products.
What else can I say... I will keep all informed as to what results I achieve by following Lloyds recommedations.

Lloyd, I commend you on your commitment to help others with our disease. And even if your products do nothing for me, I would never veiw you as an opportunist. I have a bit of marketing background, and am fully aware of tatics used to attract, and earn the trust of customers.... I have already found a difference with you. I hope others will continue to recognise this, as well....  Keep writing!

Sincerely,

Laura.... Too_Tall....

Hey JJ... Smiley
Well.... Truth be known.... I can't afford it, either....
When I feel better... then I'll worry about how to pay off my credit card bill....  Grin
I know.... sounds a bit irresponsible.... But sometimes you just have to jump in with both feet..... or end up getting cold feet.... I've been doing that far too long...I will keep you posted....

Hug's!!!!!

Good for you TT. I remember first reading about him when I was looking for information on Naomi Judd.
He sounds like a very decent, genuine human being.
Keep us posted.

I too took advantage of Lloyd Wright's offer of the free books and received them 2 days later.  I have just finished "Triumph over Hep C" and found it soooo very informative.  I am going to ck into getting his basic program also.  If it works for others it could work for us too!  I'm willing to give it a try before any other kind of treatment.  I want to feel better not worse and I sure could use some energy.

Laurie, how are you doing?  Notice any changes yet? Smiley

I just read Hepatitis C An alternative Solution by Lloyd Write.
I liked it. Yes he sell suppliments and stuff but his prices are comparable to other companies.
I found it very informative and well written. I read it in one night because I enjoyed it so much and couldn't put the book down. Grin
