S.O.B.S., sorry to hear the devastation this disease has taken on your life. I'm not in your area but do understand it is difficult when there is no support system or groups you can be a part of to help with dealing with the issues of end stage liver failure. There are no support groups in my area either, besides I couldn't get myself to one if there way. I have found that it is very possible to reach out and find good support online from people who are on the same path as you to share feelings, thoughts, concerns and other end of life issues that many are not comfortable talking about. I am also end stage liver disease but am listed for transplant. There is no guarantee for that so like you...I've prepared myself mentally for hospice when the time is due. I hope you find someone who can be a support for you and can help you along your pathway in this life. I would be happy to e-mail with you and if you find this something that could benefit you, contact me though the board and then I will give you my e-mail addy. Keep your spirits high...robin
