George, you posted something regarding your back. I'm not sure now which section it's in.
But there is a remark there from myself and Shawn that I think you should look at re: acupuncture.
I hope you're feeling better.  Smiley marina

Hey, it really freaks me to see my name written by others, like being a deer caught in someone’s headlights
I saw that late last night. I wanted to thank you both for sharing your experiences with me. It got late and I got really sleepy so I hope it isn't too late to thank you. Grin

I mention my back problems to let others here know that if they have any pre-existing conditions like that then the tx will aggravate the old injuries. It happened to me the first night I took the first shot. I almost went to the hospital that first night cause all the pain scared me so much. The pain was located in the 3 places where I have had back injuries in the past.
The book I got with the tx clearly stated that things like Rheumatoid Arthritis would be aggravated by the tx. The Doctors call mine trauma arthritis so I wasn't caught completely off guard.
Shawn that will be a good question for you. Will an acupuncturist treat a person with HCV?

Hey George, very funny analogy...I just wanted to make sure you saw it because I know what it's like to have bad back pain. Personally, I'd rather be in labor, but I'm sure you wouldn't understand that. Grin
Labor passes but sometimes back problems can linger for days and weeks. marina

Marina,
The only thing I know about Labor Pain, is that my son's mother wanted me dead while she was in labor and said I would never again touch her.

Shawn,
I see you answered my questions above in the "Side effects of therapy post"   That is some very interesting information. You seem to be saying that Yes,  the acupuncturist can and does treat for hcv
More important to me, and something running around in my head right now is your testimonial on the results of acupuncture for helping with back and neck pain. You really make me want to rush out and give it a try.
                   Thanks for sharing
                Geo

Hey Geow,

Yes, he was treating me for HCV with acupuncture - At first I was also willing to give it a try because I was having the worst neck problems at the time (have you ever had your neck muscles lock up - d*mn I hate that. He took care of that issue in one week - stuck one needle in each top of my forearm at the elbow...presto, strange stuff man.

He also gave me some of his special herbal pill concoction.

Good luck with it if you give it a try. The only problem with it is that Insurance won't cover it..."F" them, I think it's worth penny.
