Last weekend I found this board(Thank God), and was very depressed. Posted a few times.
This week I have felt great. Have worked 56 hours this week. No sides. Strong as an ox. No depression whatsoever.
I just can't explain it. I haven't felt this good in....... I can't remember the last time I felt this well.
Been on the peg/ribavirin for 6 weeks now, 7th shot today.
Is it possible that the treatment is working? That my liver is in better shape now than it has been for years?
I'm shocked, really. My boss is thinking of following me to the doc's office, do a little recruiting.
What the heck is going on with me? And will it last, or is it only temporary?
I'm not on any meds at all, but the rebetron combo.
Thank you all very much.

I know how you feel! I feel the same way most of the time. Nice huh? We are on the same meds and tonight is my 7th shot too. Lets hope it stays this good!

What type are you again? I am 1a.

My Dr is worried about my white blood count (wbc) but I feel great!

Good luck in tx.........keep us informed!

Hi Arky,

I am also in week #7 now.  Had my injection of Pegasys/Copegus Friday night.  I have some weeks of lots of energy and some weeks of none!  This treatment is some really weird stuff!  Glad the depression has eased up for you Smiley

Your liver is probably doing a bit better considering it has some help now....  No one really knows what side affect is temporary or what another person will feel from the treatment.  That's the bad part.  We can support eachother, but not predict eachothers sides.  Keep us posted on how you do and I hope it is smoooooth sailing from here!

My genotype is 1b.  Going today for blood work, I think.........or maybe just a check up....

Take care,

Hey! Thanks to all.
I'm a little tired today. Finally got a day off. Had worked 15 days in a row. Most of them 12 hours. The Land of Oppertunity isn't all that nice this time of year. Temp. 97, humidity 95 percent. I'm outdoors all day. Wish I had some Gatorade stock.
8th shot this morning. Fever back, which I hadn't had in a while. Killed it with ibuprofen, but it took several hours.
Been craving fish and raisens. Anemia?
Blood work on Tues. Hope everything is ok. I'm a little worried, I might have overdone things just a tad.
How are the rest of ya'll doing? Still ok? Weird stuff, isn't it?
I still haven't gotten an answer on my genotype. The doc told me at first, but I didn't realize at the time how important that was. Forgot it. Called the nurse the other day to inquire, but she wouldn't give me any info over the phone. Only see the doc once a month. I'll find out Tues. for sure.

Arky,
Please be careful!  It seems you are working too hard, especially in the heat and sun!  You need lots of Rest and lots of water!!!

Fish and raisins:)Huh    I have no cravings.  Infact I have no appetite.

Let me know what the Doc says about your genotype....

Take care,
