I LOVE the concept of "alternative medicine," but in my years of interest I've yet to see verifiable proof of actual cures for anything. It's wonderful to see ALT & AST levels normalize but what about the detectable levels of, oh yeah, the actual virus?

Intravenous c, Dr. Zhang, Lloyd, milk thistle, green tea, CO 10, alpha lipoic acid, colostrum, colloidal silver, noni juice, goji berries....  Name your "poison."

I'd love to believe.

It's kinda like you believe in Jesus. You believe He's the Son of God. You have faith. You believe He has forgiven your sins. You believe He walked on water. You believe He gives you the strength to overcome through God the Father. You walk out on the water.......

Soaking, you still want to believe....

Al,
I also do like alternative options. I do study up and am careful. I talk to my doc some. I read a lot.. and try to reason and try things.. I have a sixth sense about things at times. I know some things bother me, and I avoid them. I don't always Remember why!! LOL So faith is part of my daily regimen also and some days I come out drenched!! You have a good attitude and love the humor. I am not looking for alternative cure, but ways to make my body, including the liver, function better with the damage that has already been done to my liver.

Swimming in puddles out here in Massachusetts!

Yeah Al - I'm still wet too, but what do you do?  You've got to keep trying, and at the moment I find that preferable to trusting these money hungry drug companies.  I keep seeing these 'promising' cures 'just around the corner' - but none of them seem to eventuate.  It's the same with cancer - every year there's this hugely promising new treatment being trialled, but I've yet to see them used on anyone.  My best friend got breast cancer last year, and she still got the old chemo and radiation.  It seems to me that all this hype is mainly for the stockmarket.  Products are bought and sold and money is made and lost without the product having ever even existed.  Unfortunately, there's a lot of money hungrys in the natural health industry as well.  What to do?  This is a lonely disease.
