(((((Facilitators)))))

I want to take a moment and Thank You All for the magnificiant job you do on this board.  It helps makes posting & replying a positive experience.  We get to share, support, be supported, learn a wealth of info and give out info because you folks keep the whole family organized.  You always seem to have our backs...you communicate info and sources for us...you let us know that you are supportative and sometimes you just get onboard to chit-chat.  You all have taken that extra mile and I am very appreciative. Grin

Putting "Pegasys In December" into this catagory was a wise move.  For myself...I usually don't see the "forest for the trees." Undecided

Thank you also Joyce (and Ella too!).  It's nice to be associated with the board and all it's members, past, present, and future.  The "Pegasys in December" thread, (which is also the most replied to thread at the board) was moved so it would be on topic, since it was about TX.....and everything that goes with it.  We also placed it there so that others who were also on treatment and looking for information on what it is like being on treatment could more easily find the thread and the information, support, and kindness to each other that never seems to end.  I'm glad that you are OK with it being moved.  (thanks!)

Thank you for the kind words for those that do the work here to keep the board running, and running, and running.  They are special people, but then, so are all our members.   Wink

Thank you from allllll of us.   Kiss

Hear ye, hear ye! Or is it heal me, heal me... oh well. Yes, ansolutely, great job mods! And thanks all around, and to Glen for this place being here for us, and his kind thoughtfulness. I think in particular Willy and Dan deserve a big round of applause, or a round of something. But they're just such swell guys, I will always regard them highly. Speaking of which, good night folks, I'm heading for the nightcap. Then a little sheep counting, if I can keep my eyes open that long.

Joris; I may take you up on that round someday in the future. (and someday soon I hope  Grin)

I'll be down sometime and we can have a drink (and if I can't drink alcohol I'll just drink in the view  Wink) and a sail.

Something to look forward to.

Thanks guys.  Becoming associated with this board has really been one of my lifes joys.  I very much appreciate the thought behind this thread.  The people that donate their time to this board are really special people.  They work without pay, put in many hours per week to keep the board looking good and do their best to keep it running smoothly.

Lol....in the case of Hank I don't think that anyone was close to banning anyone.  It was a curious situation that I think people could have misinterpreted.  We had a new member who by in large no one really knew.  We could see some strong reactions but we didn't know that you were on treatment (and therefore didn't put together the riba connection).  After it became clear that you were on treatment it all made more sense.  I'm glad that it has all worked out in the end.

We seldom ban people here.  Well, we ban spammers all the time, but seldom ban real members.  The few times that we have we have always done it for a short period of time and then basically invited them back in to try again.  We all end up learning from what at times are difficult exchanges.

Even when people get banned.....it is really the behavior that gets banned.  When someone gets banned......that sounds so strong.......I think of it as being put in "time out"..... they are basically being told "no no" and being put on the stairs or facing the corner.  It takes a strong action to get us to do that but understand..... we are also trying to balance protecting the group of people that post here....... some of them sick from HCV.....some of them on treatment themselves......and all of us whenever we can wanting to avoid stress and conflict.

It's a fine line to walk and we don't do it perfectly but we always try to do our best.  Thanks again for your kind words.  I sure appreciate them and I know others do as well.

best,
Willy
