Robin, I've hit a wall or two myself lately.  That is a sign that the forum was having problems; it's nothing likely that you are doing wrong.  There have been a few error reports, inaccessible threads etc.  We are working on it and hope to have it soon worked out.  No....... I don't think it's fixed yet but cross your fingers.

We also appreciate it when things go wrong if people let us know what ain't working.  Unless we are alerted we may not know.  The sooner we know the sooner we can get a handle on it and run down the problem.  Just assume that it is a forum problem and that it will soon be ironed out.

Keep us up to speed if there are further problems.

Thanks, ya'll.

Thanks Willy...there are many times (with me) that it is the user and not the site that is messed up. I'm obviously posting so I guess it's fixed...or maybe I'm fixed. Who knows. I really do appreciate all of you and your patience with us (me). Keep your spirits high....robin

I thought I was the only one that could respond and it never show up. I thought maybe the Moderators didn't like what I had to say???  I was about to drop out, Kinda like a guy with bad breath, It will be interesting if this shows up. I haven't seen any of the last three? i sent in. Maybe I just don't know where to look. I am lost half the time on this site. , Spell check doesn't seem to work? Again it is just probably me. It seems like a certian few get their posts on and maybe a few more. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, if so, tell me. Jody13

Jody...no bad breath but maybe you want to change deodorants  Wink...just kidding. I've found when I can't figure out how to do something here...Willie (usually) jumps in and gets it fixed or knows who to get to fix it. Just keep whining about it...that works for me Grin...keep your spirits high...robin

(or Helen) she posted right while I was being a wise cracker.

Looks like Robin and Helen beat me to the punch.  Thanks guys.  I can tell you that the problem is not what you are posting or moderators actions to it.  I don't know why but sometimes this forum has problems.  We don't know if it if is forum related or server related.  I can tell you that other people (including myself) have also had occasional problems but that they often are short lived; they also clear up.

Just be patient and we'll see if we can see what it is....

best,
Willy
PS.......
Are your posts dissipearing?  You post them and then you can't find them?
Are you getting an "error message"?  If so please copy and paste the error message/code.
Is it a question of not being able to visit a forum or visit a thread?
If it is not any of these please explain further what the issue is so we can better run down a solution.

Joe,
Willy asked some good questions there, I dont "see" any lost posts, so if you can answere the questions he asked we may be able to determine whats going on.

I forgot to add, for some reason our "spellcheck" dosent work, that would be something "evil Mod" would have to look into.

I thought it was because I was using a capital J instead of the small j . But I see several of the Jody13 in here so that isn't it. I wrote one about smoking to Helen and others. Oh well I'll live over it.  My wife ignores me all the time so I'm used to it. So did my kids, even the dog . jody13

Joe, I'm still getting the impression that you made a complete post and it dissipeared.....or is it that it posted and then dissipeared later.  One other thing you might try; try to revisit your old posts.  Go to your profile page and at the bottom of the page you can access all your old posts and the threads they appeared in.  If you don't know how to visit your profile page just click on your membername on the left hand margin on any of your posts just above your post count.  That will take you to your "profile".  All your posts can be accessed at the bottom of that "page".  If they didn't appear where you wanted but still existed you'd find them there.

I'm not aware of any that were deleted.

Joe,
if you check the smoking thread your post is there, maybe your not clicking on the right page.Whenever you finish a post and submit it you get taken back to the main page, if there is more than one page in the thread your post will be on the last page so click on the last number in that thread to get you there. Hope Im not confusing you. Let me know if I am.  Smiley

I promise yiou we're not ignoring you.  Wink
