This book has been previously mentioned under it's Third Edition. A friend that underwent liver transplant recommended it to me and I found it helpful to check my reality, place where I was in the big picture. Any feedback would be welcome!

nancy,
Actually, a fourth edition came out in 2006.  Wink
This book is chock full of information. I am constantly researching iin it. (I have it in my book case, right next to my desk.  Cheesy) It has information for every stage you may be in. (newbies, treatment, nontreatment, responders and nonresponders, transplant info, etc) There is information about improvements in therapy from 1989 to 2006, the interferon, ribavirin, pegintron. It hits on liver cancer, coinfection, liver transplants, and children with hepatitis C. There are also chapters about taking care of yourself nutritionally, emotionally, and financially.

As you can see, I highly recommend this book.
