Isn't a Cornish pasty like a baked *sandwich* stuffed with various fillings?
I know we have a *Pasty Shack * here and that is what they are like.

Helen, I can't believe how similiar our lives have been, growing up we spent many happy summers at Hatteras .My husband and I live in New Bern on a large river, our home is on a small hill looking down at the beautiful sunsets ,at times the porpoise swim up river and it is quite a sight. I feel  so very fortunate. We are 45 min. from Morehead City or Atlantic Beach.After I was diagnosed with HCV my family went to the beach for a week.....There is nothing like the beach, salty smell, and watching the waves break on shore......I try to look around and count my blessings every day....Hope you have a good weekend......Betty.
