This is a good little guide with instructions on how to do alot of things here in the forum, posting pics is a big one people want to learn and there intructions for that in here too.
How to Quote a Previous Post:
Go to the post you wish to quote and click on the box in the upper right of that post that says Quote.
Edit out all text except that which you wish to refer to.
Type post as normal
Done
How to do a Simple Quote:
Left click and drag to highlight the text you wish to Quote.
Right click and copy
Reply as normal and when you wish to Quote, click on the Quote box below the Reply box .
Paste your text in between the two Quotes.
Done
How to put Italics or Bold in your Posts:
When you are ready for Bold print or Italics simply click the Box that says Bold or Italics underneath the reply box and Type in the box that opens up what you would like to be in Bold or Italics.
Click OK.

How to Post Graemlins (Smileys) from other Sites:
If you find Graemlins you wish to use from another site the first thing you need to check is the user agreements on the website you wish to use a graemlin from. Not all websites allow direct linking. This is very important to know. If they do not you will need to host the graemlin on your own website. Instructions to follow. If they do allow direct linking keep reading:
The most popular site for graemlins is
www.bestsmileys.com . To get the graemlin into your post it is easiest to open two browsers. One with hcvanonymous open, the other with the Graemlin website. Highlight and copy the entire URL that is next to the graemlin you want to show. Paste the URL directly into the post making sure there are no spaces anywhere in the link like this [***]http://bestsmileys.com/eating1/20.gif[/***] (Replace the *** with IMG). When you post the reply the URL will automatically turn into the graemlin like this .
If the graemlin you want is on a website that does not allow direct linking follow the instructions for Posting a Picture below.
How to Post a Photo
You will either need to host on your own website or if you do not have one, open an account with a image hosting site such as
www.photobucket.com . It is fast, easy and free. Once your account is open and you have the photos you want saved to your computer all you need are these steps:
There is a box in the upper right that asks how many images, click on the number you want.
Below that is a browse button, Click it.
A box will open up and the top bar says “Look In”. Find the location of your photos on your computer and click them in one by one till you have them all in. Make sure you use a different browse button for each.
Click submit when done and your pictures are now ready to use.
Now that it is hosted you may either post the link to the photo (preferred method) by following the instructions above for adding an URL (Using the URL under the photo) or you can post as a image using the graemlin method using the IMG URL under the photo. If you are going to post the photo as an image, please check the size prior to posting and resize it if necessary to about 250x250 max. You can resize on the photobucket site.
How to Use Your Own Avatar
If you wish to use your own avatar you may do so. The avatar must not be larger than 60x60 pixels to fit on the board. You must host it yourself (see photo instructions). To get the avatar into your profile:
Click on: My profile
Click on Edit Profile
Scroll down to Select an Avatar
Click on Select a Different Avatar Image
Look at bottom of the Avatar Page and erase everything in Custom Url box (if there is anything there from a previous picture). Make sure it is completely empty.
Copy and paste the URL of the photo you want to use (see photo instructions)
Click on Set Url
Scroll down to bottom of edit profile page again and be sure to click on Update Profile
