How do I post a gif ???

Hey you puter savvy people, What do I do to post a gif??? I have the reply page up and then have the gif ready to go but it doesn't show up on the reply page ?? I think I'm missing a "click" somewhere along the line So close but yet so far away...thanks in advance for any help...Angel Oh after I hit open no gif comes up...in case this helps you understand what I'm saying bye Angel

Thanks for your help but I still can't get it to come up !!! I did the step by step directions but didn't work. I have posted gifs on a different site the same way with no problem......can't figure it out  Angel

How to Post a Photo

You will either need to host on your own website or if you do not have one, open an account with a image hosting site such as www.photobucket.com . It is fast, easy and free. Once your account is open and you have the photos you want saved to your computer all you need are these steps:

There is a box in the upper right that asks how many images, click on the number you want.
Below that is a browse button, Click it.
A box will open up and the top bar says “Look In”. Find the location of your photos on your computer and click them in one by one till you have them all in. Make sure you use a different browse button for each.
Click submit when done and your pictures are now ready to use.

Now that it is hosted you may either post the link to the photo (preferred method) by following the instructions above for adding an URL (Using the URL under the photo) or you can post as a image using the graemlin method using the IMG URL under the photo. If you are going to post the photo as an image, please check the size prior to posting and resize it if necessary to about 250x250 max. You can resize on the photobucket site.

  Thank you Helen, I just got my computer out of the shop and I have had to rest all my passwords.....I will sing up with photobucket soon as I get a chance....Thank you for the instructions...Angel

This board carries some storage space in it; it's limited but right now it's fine.  Sometimes it fills up and I have to go delete old gif's jpegs, etc off of old posts.

So you don't have to do it but photo bucket might be longer term.  You can sure experiment using our board instead of photobucket though. 

If people get the notice that they can't post it due to our boards capacity is full let one of the admins know.
