Hi All!!!

Those same folks that posted the info that helen is referring to originates from this firm in NYC...
They are hired by almost all of the major producers of whatever product or consumable that has been shown to have harmful effects to the "consumers" health and/or safety...

The president of this firm was interviewed by sixty minutes about a month or so ago and he basically is the "Hired Gun" for these corporations that stand to lose tons of money if their products are'nt bought by consumers 2 their current output FYI!!!

I do'nt remember his name off hand but his firm intentionally "spins" such "Bad News" like "I use butter what do you use?" and rebuttals to soo many other articles claiming potential harm to consumers so, if anyone's been duped, it's the folks that read and believed the rebuttal. Shocked Shocked Shocked

I will post the name of the firm as soon as I find it wherever I put it Huh Huh Huh
MUST BUY MORE HARD DRIVES!!! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Cool

Respectfully,
Henry

Hank, My wife used a make belief butter till I finally convinced her to go back to butter. When I was growing up years ago. I ran the seperator for my great Aunt on the ranch and churned the butter for her, Drank the butter milk when it was fresh . Nothing kike fresh warm milk right from the cow. foam and all. The two of them ate all the forbidden stuff and lifed with out any doctors till way up in their eightys. My uncle rode a horse every day till he was over eighty I think. He deid when he was 83, sittin near the fence where they were working cattle. Inremember that stuff during the war in a plastic bag you had to break a capsule of yellow stuff in and mix it up.  Jody Smiley

Hi Jody!!!
Long time no write. I used to rock a big jar with fresh milk and after a short time the cream, buttermilk, butter and milk would seperate. Yum!

We tried margarines and non-butters for my dad, he still can only use the olive oil spread and sparingly at that - not for cooking, ever, it breaks down in bad ways so the benefits disappear. I use tiny amounts of olive to cook or if I'm cooking on a low heat, it doesn't stand up well to high heats and besides I sometimes drizzle a little on at the end for the flavor and another oil called Omega Oil which has no frauds in it. Good old crisco is also pure vegetable oil. The thing is used sparingly, our old standby's are still there.

As for butter, no salt is the safest, and a little is best for spreading but it also burns very quickly. Besides, Toll-house cookies just aren't right with anything but butter - sheesh!

At the coffee shop where I worked we couldn't cook eggs in the traditional way for breakfast sandwiches. I've been doing our "recipe" here as well and it's good with half the clean up as well. Stir an egg with a little milk, pepper if you like in one bowl. Then spray with a corn oil spray, wiping out any extra, The bowl should be slope sided, put your egg into the sprayed bowl, microwave on high for one minute. If you want to add cheese, once the egg is cooking put cheese on top (I like shredded so less goes farther), and zap for another 30 seconds. Viola! Ready to have with whatever else you want.

From one who is always trying to reinvent recipes to fit my new restrictions,

We use BUTTER........I was the margarine queen until Johnny came into my life.  He will not eat anything but butter....  I freaked at the price of it until I went to Costco and found out that I can buy four pounds of it for almost the same price that I pay for one pound of it, in the grocery store.  BUTTER it is.....

(((Momma)))

We have "Pure Olive Oil" "Virgin Olive Oil" and "Extra Virgin Olive Oil."  Two of these stand up at differing cooking temps.  One of them can be used at a higher heat.  I buy the store brand and they don't give me that particular info...Brand names will.  I am going to the store in a little while and will write it down and post it.

(((Jody)))

I used to make Gingerbread from scratch using fresh cow's milk for my dad's birthdays...Oh!  It was wonderful!  My Uncle was a farmer and his children (and the barn kittens & cats) drank fresh cow's milk and the family ate churned butter.  I am happy to say my cousins are all in their late 50's and have been healthy their entire lives.

(((Nialla)))

We usually use butter but the product you posted is what I always have on hand.  It's a good one.

Love You All..... Cool
