Deb, your letter is much better and more personal than the form letter they reccomend.
Is there a web site for Dr. Zhang?
Reading all these posts again in a receptive frame of mind sure gets my blood moving. I will look into Lloyd's books, investigate alternative meds and have faith. Currently I have decided to do conventional treatment to see what occurs, at the 24 week juncture we will see how it feels.
Alley, your'e still #1 with me.

Well, thanks to all my new found friends here, I have deceided to try Lloyd's program.  It will be a while before my doctors gets back with me on the peg/intron, so why not give it a try. I had already made up my mind that I wasn't going to begin peg/intron until the first of next year anyway.

I browsed for Zhang's website.  I forgot the actual website address, but if you search for "Zhang's Clinic"  it will come up.

I'm not sure if Lloyd Wright is still sending free books, but if you mention that you saw it at this website he may send you his books. I received mine in just a few days.

Good luck on the conventional treatment!  I hope you beat that dragon.  In the meantime, please do research the alternatives.  Deb

Hi Deb,
I haven't been posting much lately, but I have been reading and I just wanted to tell you I'm glad you are going to take your health into your own hands. Grin  I don't think we've had anyone here doing Lloyd's whole program,( just bits of it) so it will be very interesting if you could please report your progress.  Do you have fresh bloodwork up #'s? I found my enzymes went into normal range quite quickly with just the natcell. Nice to meet you Smiley

Alley: Nice to meet you too!  My lastest bloodwork was done in December 03.  I figure thats recent enough.  My doctor probably wouldn't write another order for one, nor would my insurance pay for it.

I'm not doing quite the intensive program that Lloyd did, because it is extremly expensive.  I am going to take the Natcell Thymus once a week, along with about 3/4 of the herbs he mentions.  I have to pass on the other forms of Natcell that he mentioned. I did however, get the energyflash (I think thats what its called).  My energy level is just nothing lately.  If my finances change I will continue to add herbs from Lloyd's program.  My husband's business should pick up this month, so I hope to be able to add more Natcell to my program, at least until fall when his business slows again.

I've also been suffering from diverticular disease.  Of course the doctors do practically nothing for it.  I'm hoping that all these herbs help that too.

I'm very anxious to get started.  The Natcell will be here by Tuesday, so I'll start then.  I will keep you posted. I'm so glad I found this website.  I just can't say it enough!

Hi again Deb,
I have heard that the teas are particularly good for you , I take the Natcell TLM cause it seems a little more affordable then the straight thymus, so next round you might look at that too. Smiley

I forgot, I did order the Reishi mushrooms bulk.  I'll try that as a tea.  I'll probably look in to see what other teas he mentions.

Alley, I noticed that you started Natcell in October.  Do you notice a big improvement since your first week, or is it pretty much the same.

  Hi Deb,
I still feel better than I have in many many years, but I changed alot of things and Natcell is only one of the things that has helped. Smiley
My enzymes have hovered near normal or in normal since a couple of weeks after I started the Natcell.

I came across this which pertains to thymic extracts in general.  I have not begun to visit all the sites but in visiting them you may get a read about what others say about these extracts.  Many of these links will take you to suppliers of other wholistic, naturopathic, type remedies, supplements, information and support.  This thread seemed as good a place as any to place this.
While it appears to be a links page, the links don't work on my computer.  To get them to work I have to copy and paste each one into my computers search engine.  Oh well, they work then.
         Happy reading.

Best,
Willy

Willy,

The blue url links aren't the actual link. How irritating is that?

Just click on the light brown header and you'll be whisked to your destination.

It's a confusing world, ain't it?
