I started reading and found it interesting.  Of course he sells stuff too, so he's a tad suspect.  I always enjoy reading the stuff, even if it's pure pitch and pure BS.

In his case I agree with some of what he has too say and so I'm glad you have the link up.

Yeah - while this seems to be a case of over-sell, I must say I fully agree about the danger of biopsies.  Although doctors would generally never admit it, a couple of them have privately agreed with me that there could be a danger of spreading cancer that way.

I haven't read about the danger of biopsies but I can say that since I had one a year and half ago, my liver enzymes have progressed higher from a steady 45 (for five years) to 100.  I won't be doing that again.

Hi SteveWonder,  just want to clarify that I meant biopsies into tumours could be suspected of causing cancer to spread, not liver biopsies into non-cancerous livers.  Must admit though, I haven't had a liver biopsy either due to the invasiveness of the procedure.  Hope your enzymes settle down again - it could be just a fluctuation.  My enzymes were completely normal for years and then they suddenly skyrocketed for no seemingly logical reason.

Good clarification Ella.  Not all biopsies are the same.

I have a friend who just got treated for stomach cancer.  She is a bit like me; likes to treat herself.  Finally she got so sick that she had to go to the doctor.  They DX'ed her with stomach cancer and gave her a 5% chance of survival.  That is rather common since as I understand it by the time you have sufficient symptoms it is often too late.

I guess in her case they were able to scope her and see what was going on but sometimes there is no other good way.  In her case if she had waited much longer she might have had a zero chance of a cure.

What happened to her?    She did chemotherapy for a few months and the cancer dissippeared.  The doctors were amazed.

Still..... it's an interesting concept.

Thanks for the clarification Ella.  I have a tendency to read what I want.  I responded without even reading the article (I read some of it now).
