Well,

That's certainly better news!

Nialla,

Close, Coujam's real name is "Robin" however the "Robin" Kat's referring to is Arkansas Robin.  Nothing like confusion, eh?

Now, if only we could get her to post.. LOL

GREAT NEWS!  She's out of the hospital and at her daughter Jill's (only a short drive to the hospital).  When she's feeling up to it, she'll be back here.

Yep, Helen's right!  "Keep Your Spirits High" Robin was in the hospital and lives in Arkansas.  Robin (Coujam) lives in Florida. Look at me, relating them to their geographical location.... Guess it's easier for me to remember who's who.

Big hugs,
Kat

Thanks to all of you for the kind words of support and caring words. This is one of the good thing / bad thing deals...with the TIPS, a small infection becomes a big problem but when I went in my MELD score was up to 19 and on discharge, it had come down to a happy 16. Don't know if it moved me up a spot or two but that will happen when the time is right.  It's good to be home and have my cats underfoot.  Grin Again...thanks a lot for being here...even if I wasn't. Bad thing was my grandaughter, Rhiannon, got all flipped out seeing me sick and cried for a couple of days, but the hospital did allow her to come visit rather than me leaving AMA. The other grandaughter who was sleeping over told her parents that Aunt Jill had to leave early in the morning to take MeMaw to the hospital to have a baby. I'd much rather be a porcupine than have a baby. Love you all and keep your spirits high...robin

ROBIN: So glad to see you are posting again. It's like great big breath of fresh air we were starting to gasp for until your return. Hope improvements in your health hang around for awhile and improve more day by day.
The local hops. docs wanted to give me a TIPS, but my liver doc put the kibosh on that for now anyway. That lack of a filter system in the shunt isn't to be toyed with. With my prayers that a new liver will be able to deshunt the shunt and make you healthy and hearty. Of course I know it's a long process, but I trust it is all worth it in the long run.
Be well. I think I can speak for those who know here you in saying we love you,
Susie
