I have an old, but very good ruggedly built aluminum Grumman canoe. This canoe is also a sailing canoe, although I don't have the rig for sailing. I did however locate a few good web pages online where there are other sailing canoe enthusiasts, and you can get all kinds of rigging for this canoe.

The canoe was manufactured so that you could use it as a regular paddle powered canoe, or set it up for sailing, and there's a rigid brace that goes across the forward section of the canoe which has a hole in it to accept a mast, and a base plate which you would set the mast base into. I believe the rig is a lateen sail rig, and I have a users manual which shows the entire rig set up and it's components.

I don't really want to sell it, but I'm about to lose my house so I have to start liquidating most of my toys, and the canoe is one of them. The canoe comes complete with paddles, life jackets, and some real cool looking old wooden folding seats that were designed for the canoe, so when you paddle your butt is up off the floor and there is a backrest. It also has a wooden slat flooring insert.

The price is $300.00 and I would suggest that if you don't live in Florida it would mean you'd have to drive to Florida to get it. I don't have a trailer for it, I just pop it up on the roof of my Jeep and lash it down when I go out in it. So, if you're in Florida and you have a vehicle that can handle it, come and get it. $300 and it's yours. My phone is (321) 632-3845, and I live in Port St John, near Cocoa and Titusville (on the east coast).
