Thanks Helen -
I haven't made it over lately, but do have a ball when chatting - some might say too much fun, but I'm not apologizing.  Really, the more the merrier is the way to go.

Can you meet me in chat on Monday at around 4:00 pacific time or maybe 7 pm eastern???

Seriously, I think it's really the way to go for anyone to connect, ask questions and feel a true hepper welcome.

I'm a little under the weather myself tonight but will try and make it tomorrow night.

Lee,  it's definitely what  Kerry and Earl would say!!!! LOL

Helen, long time no chat, please tell me how to get on line for your fourim tomorow i am off the interferon for a couple months and i have gained 15lbs but it looks like i am loosing my hair and i am a bit freaked out about that, my Dr was such the jerk once he found out i lost insurance coverage he was so kind and sent me on my way, off the treatment and told me to come back when i had insurance again! he further told me that only a few patients respond tot his treatment anyway and if i do nothing i probably will not see any ill effect untill 10 years down the road?

jb,

It was really cool chatting with you too.   I learned so much more about you!   Learning who other heppers are is a very neat thing.

Jody,

Once you are logged in you should see 2 different colored boxes a larger greenish box to the left and a smaller yellow box to the right.  Underneat the greenish box there is a blank white box where you type text to participate in the chat.  It's not "voice" chat it's actually typeing back and forth.  My direct email is missymouse@bellsouth.net if you want to email me your phone number or if you want me to email you mine send me a quick note and I can try to walk you through things over the phone.

Just an aside - it would be great to have you join us. Please don't give up. I won't offer to help because I might mess you up even more - Missy is the one you need.

Hi, I'm new here, though I've had Hep C for 20 years.  I've never undergone treatment, but think the time is coming.  I get occasional twinges on my right side, am tried, achey.  I'm looking for a good doctor in the NYC area.  I've had some bad experiences with doctors in the past and would like a reference from someone who knows.

Really scared about having to take interferon.  I'm told I probably won't be able to work while taking it.  I got my life back 10 years ago and a lot of my self esteem is tied up in my job.  I would welcome some help concerning this.
