A Hug
It can be gentle and warm as a summer rain
Or it can be strong and sustaining as an oak
A hug can strengthen a foundation
It can soften the hardest and coldest of them all
It can make swaying with the breeze a little easier
A hug can lighten the heaviest load
The accomplishments of a hug are miraculous
All that is needed to bring such a peacefulness
Is a little bit of oneself and a few ounces of time.

Hugs are healing. I like this, it points out the value of a hug. One thing I discovered, too, is that some people have this wonderful energy radiating out of them, and you can only find it through a hug. Have you ever hugged someone and felt a kind of electricity, kind of a sensation that this is good energy flowing, and you just want it to last? Hugs are the sharing of good energies, so I believe there is heqaling power in hugs, and in touch alone.

Keep up the good writing, Kristi. And everyone, you should just let it flow. I know there are a lot of folks who have things in them they wish they could share, well, here's the perfect place to do that. So, please write. It won't hurt, even if it isn't great, it is something, and practiced, it leads to better somethings.

Kristi,

I loved this one, though I admit in reading much of your work here, I say the same thing each time!......Thought it time to post and tell you.

You really capture the essence of each subject you write about.  You are very talented.

Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us all.

God bless your day.
