May the fog that rolls through my world of oak trees and pine,  comfort you.

May the pine needles that lay at your feet, cushion your steps.

May the Oaks that stretch their limbs above you, shade you from adversities.

May the sun that shines above you, guide you and keep you warm.

And may the breezes that encompass you, lessen your turmoils.

Nice work, sort of reminds me of a limerick. The only thing I caught that I would question is how the oak limbs protect me from adversity, followed by the sun warming me and guiding me. Those dang limbs are keeping the sun from warming me! Just poking fun, no, it's well written, girl. You know, they sell hard back books that you can write your own stuff i. All the pages are blank, so you can first write your thoughts on a note pad, and when you have a good one (keeper), you write it in the book, maybe adding a small drawing in there to give it some visual pleasantries. I suggest you find one and get busy, you have talents that need to be logged. Keep working that talent to see where it takes you. It can be quite amazing to discover what it is thats in you that has needed an outlet for so long.

Well done.

Thanks Dude I share this with very few. Wrote it when I was younger and spending a sabbatical in Florida Everglades backpacking alone. Ya'll seem like warm friends that I wanted to share this special writing of mine with. Big Ole Bear Hug being sent your way. Kristi

Kristi -

I hope you are doing well - having been here at the same time as you in a while. You wrote such a beautiful piece, deep in meaning, simple in concept - read this, easy to carry with you through the times you meant for it to be carried.

Much love,
Susie
