The water of a deep quiet gray, shimmering with a silver coat.

It's motion flows at a slow mellow pace, collecting hearts and souls, Of those caught up within.

To peacefully and yet continuously pull one's soul from within.

Oh! the contentment to travel within, where time knows no boundaries, space knows no end.

To be a part of her sunsets and shadows of light; the roar of her turrents and calm in the night.

To feel fish plucked from one's bosom, lines penetrate the surface of one's soul.

They cannot slow down, and cannot control.

Salt runs through your veins, your heart races to her pace.

With her quiet cries, as a ghost of time before.

She pulls one back; to her docks, her seas, her shores.

I always felt the sea is a woman, so this lends itself well to that notion. Nice writing, Kristi, you should write often. Good work.

Glad you took time out in your day to read my writings.  I don't think about it. I am just moved to grab a pad and begin writing when something hit me.  It just comes out.  Bear Hugs Big Guy. Kristi
