Yep go on-line and pick one to fit your budget. That is one thing I did a lot of was shop on line. Anything to save your energy.
Was your plalets up also? It goes hand and hand with your Hgb. Its good to get it check again but if you are at 12 it is difficult to get the procrit. Your body could be feeling the interferon fatigue which I have not found anything to help with that except conserve your energy.
One classic sign of the anemia (which is the plalets/Hgb) is walking five steps and needing to stop and feeling right in the chest. Another thing to check is the thyroid that is also hard to diagnose but is a culprit of making you feel like a puddle of water (not sure how else to describe it) except I can say I know WHAT YOUR FEELING.
I also ask the doc to check the folic acid in case the b12 shots would have help. Since I still feel awful I cant say I am sure the test are done with any accuracy. The obvious is your body is telling you different.

Leggs -
I needed procrit almost the whole time i was on tx and probably should have been on it before. My platelets have bounced up to normal but aren't great. I heal ok from cuts and all, but not from bruises. There are a lot of things that have more to do with having hcv sitting there before dx for so many years - like anemia or tooth decay or cracking and falling out. It's hard to figure out, since it really doesn't help to be on tx, but dx also helps make you and your docs more aware of all the measurements - that's only my opinion though.
Sorry about the washer - same thing happened here and running to the laundromat wasn't gonna happen. I had a friend take a load to her house once or twice, but of course, that's the week that everything is dirty - Murphy's Law I guess.
Hang in there - you're pulling off more than you ever thought you had the strength to do as it is.

Mouse,Shelia,and susie,
Thank you for your posts. I did get a new washer today, We are going to get a $100.00 rebate from our Electric/Gas Co,and $50.00 rebate from the sewer dept as well. Kool huh? I really like it alot. I go back to work tomorrow,Joy Joy ! I am starting to wonder if my HGB and HCT went up due to me not exerting any energy for the past 10 days. I accomplished nothing during the vacation but got lots of needed rest. I see the Lung spelisist in a few weeks,my Doctors seem to think I have a lung problem that is causing my SOB. We will see indeed. As far as my Platlet count, it is good. I will keep you all posted.
