POST NO BILLS

« on: December 13, 2007, 07:00:21 AM »

Hey everyone,

Does anyone have an electronic copy of the HCV Big-Book?

I haven't gotten a response from the web-site, and I'd like to take a look at it;  I've never done any step-work, but am interested in looking at it before Tx. start...

I hope everyone is doing well:

Snowflake & Redrodeo; The Mighty Missy-Mouse, & everyone else, I hope the Tx. are tolerable!!!  You are all in my thoughts & prayers

Dude, please never stop writing, because you have a gift.  (We need to talk someday, you & I have a lot in common)

Momxfive, take a break; you've earned a nice nap or rest...

And to the Negative 1:

(Earl laughs and says to himself, "This guy is wierd!".

Everyone, have a great day...

(((Kerry)))

Well, this sure isn't going to help you...I had it but I think it was on my old computer.  I will check though and try to get back to you today, okay?

How is everything going?  It's really nice how well you have fit right in here on the board.  You have already contributed a lot and I hope you receive much in return. Grin

Thanks Joyce!

Thank you for asking; things are about as good as I let them be.  For example...Results are back from an ultrasound, and there's no earth-shattering nonsense to deal with there, so I'm happy.  My gasto-guru wants ONE MORE blood test, then, who knows;  Tx., a dance, another blood test...dinner and a movie!?!?!?!  Whatever he wants, it's cool.

This cooling off period seems to be good for my wife & children (3 boys; 16, 23, 26)  Doctor Guts seemed to be moving towards Tx. very, very quickly, and we all got caught in a bit of a tail-spin; it's good to be back on course!!!

YOu're right about my fitting in around here.  I really dig it here.  This board has been a blast;  I am greatfull for all that have taken a moment to visit, post, or just say hello.  I had some great laughs during the chat the other night, and that was very welcomed!!!

Back to my original topic, I would welcome comments from anyone that has done "step work" specific to HCV.  I have to cop to this; I am 12-Step ignorant, so this is a 1st time thing for me.  As my health continues to evolve, and I look into the eyes of my (pending) treatment, I want to build as many positive components as possible.  I want this to work for reasons we all understand.  I so very badly want to hear things like "Healing" and "SVR" and I want to hear it for me, and for everyone here as well.

You know when you're surrounded by good people, because, with increasing regularity, you think about them more than you think about yourself.

Have an outstanding day Joyce!!!

Til Next time...

Im 12 step ignorant myself,  Undecided the only thing Ive ever been addicted to are cigarettes and I quit those bad boys just over a year ago. Grin I will see if I still have the pdf file. I used to have it when I
took care of the HCVanon. mail, but I was having so many mail problems I got fed up so glen took it back over.Ill give him a heads up if I dont have it.

(((Helen)))

I have a copy of the HCV Big Book in a PDF file in "My Documents."  I posted in the lounge but I think Willy may have misunderstood what I was asking so I posted again to hopefully clarify.  So, I am going to attack this from both ends...literally...lol.  I just need to know how to forward the file which is 197 pages long to Pete, Kerry and anyone else that may want it.  Maybe we can re-post a link to it to replace the existing link that only seems to pull up an blank HCV Anonymous form...something like that.  Willy checked it out.

Hi Joyce,
Thanks for staying on top of this, and I finally posted to your question in the moderator forum  Smiley
I apologize Kerry for taking so long, been kind of busy with the Holidays and baking and just havent been online as much. I dont have this file anymore but Joyce does and she should be able to just insert it in her e-mail as an attachhment to you and then you can just keep it on file or print it out.
If either of you need any help just give me a hollar and Ill help if I can. ll be in and out today and over the next few days.
