Happy Halloween!!
Hi everyone.
Tracy isn't taking Trey out trick or treating, she is tried I think being Pregant and all.
but I hope to visit him this weekend.
Paul and i went out to a small club here at the race track, they had a band and people dressed up for halloween.
it was fun.
Today is grocery shopping.
I am gald to hear your feeling better Betty and Winona. I hope today to good for you too.
I have been getting pains in my neck,
oh well its most likely age related.
I did get my order done. I got 3 witches for the ladys store. and 4 snowmen & about 17 skates. it took all week but that is ok, i'd love to do that every week then truckin to shows.

Jan, That is nice you and Paul got to go out and have some fun. Do you take breaks from painting and do some neck streches, from side to side ect.. AsperCream(sp) may help some too... I used it alot when I worked in the boning room at Banquet Foods...
I didnt get to watch the kids go Treat or Treating due to another migrain, needless to say I was bummed.
But I did get a call from kentucky, which made my day..
Did you get to see Trey over the weekend? How far along is Tracy now?
Glad to hear you got the order done, maybe things will pick up at the store. That way you won't have to do so many shows thoughout the year...fingers crossed...

Nov. 4th, Hello, It sure is slow in here, hope everyone is doing ok. I have the boys today, it will be nice to see them. I think I will make some chicken n dumplings, an easy one dish meal. That they really like, a win win situation.. Evan has soccer today, so as soon as is mom gets off work she will take him to that. Evan and Ian are doing really good in soccer this year...
My mom has started calling me every morning now. She is finally starting to come back up from her depression. She has been off the anti meds for about 9 months now. This time has been slower,so hopefully it iis a good sign. Because the other times she shot way up and was like a speed freak, couldn't sleep or think clearly. So, I have hope things will work out and I will have my mom back.
Well, the screen is doing that jumping thing again and the letters aren't working, have to hit them over and over,  so I guess I will go...

Hello Jan, Sorry I haven't been on, I caught a bug...blahhhh Just been laying around alot, hoping to get better...
Well, mom has shot back up, speeding along, talking 90 miles a minute and has all these's plans going on in her head...
Bless her heart, I am just afraid her body won't be able to keep this up, back and forth...
We never know where our son is going and most of the time he cannot tell us where he has been. I sent you an e-mail with pictures, I hope you got them. It will be so nice when they move to the west coast, Ben will be walking and talking by then.
Did you get to see Trey over the weekend? How far along is Tracy now and does she know what the sex is or does she want to know?
I hope your work is going well on your crafts for the shows. You have five more, wow thats alot, Good Vibes that you have a wonderful turn out for them...
Kentucky said she tried to call you but no answer.. She has finished the catalog and sent it to the printers. Her boss was out this last week, his wife had a baby. Which was probably a good thing for her, she got to work with gm to get it finished...

Hey there -

How is everybody??? I know, I don't come here anywhere near as much as I used to, but I still prowl around and have only seen sparse replies.

It's been a tough year and half - losing Mom and Dad, divorcing, boohoo, but real just the same. I spent most of the spring and summer doing all kinds of yard work and walking the beach. I wrote and did artwork, but needed to be outside while the days were still warm and the sun lasted longer than the 16 minutes we seem to get in the winter up here.

I did invent a pretty nifty item - a cardboard box - no kidding. If you lay a box on its side and slide your laptop in it, you can work in the sun - works so much better and is so much cheaper than the filters, etc. made to do the job. Maybe I should cover it with Mylie Cyrus stuff and sell it for the patent rights. Anyway, it did give me a chance to do both - write and be outside. Plus, even though there was, as always, more stuff going on this past summer, going meant spending, so... we all know that drill.

It was nice to meet Betty and her Ray, Missy and Skydiver Bill, Robin and Kat in NC - it is stunning how diverse a group we are, and yet united via this forum. If we and so many others, either members or family and friends of members, 6 degrees of separation would be a simple thing and wonderfully true.

I just read a review of a book that says Americans are false and doing ourselves harm by going all chirpy and positive - kinda buries the real part of us and our experiences. I happen to agree, but I'm not ready to trade in smiles, love and humor yet.

Without getting political - it is one my biggest prayers that we can all pull ourselves out of this big potty flush called our economy - so much hinges on it and I don't care if you made 6+ figures, or were on disability like me, there is nothing and no one who isn't effected. Not to get on a soapbox or anything - it is an awful lot like dealing with HCV. 

It is too easy for those who THINK they are immune to show us disrespect - guess you can tell I got a dose of the "wash your hands" routine again. To be honest, there are people who I'd love to give this too - the man who molested my daughter being number 1 - but then I'd have to create a situation and see him.

I'm happy that babies keep joining our families, we fall in love and marry, or out of love and divorce, any good day at work - IS a good day in this economy, and that our little group are doing well.

I'll try to stop in more often - In the mean time, love and hugs to all,

P.S. Winona - I have been going thru the same thing with my computer and HCV Anon - I usually end up copying my post or reply, leaving, coming back, and pasting it in where it belongs. This has been for the last week or so. Tried everything from emptying my cache to resetting safari - works here for a minute and then I'm back to the same old tug of war. If I find out anything I'll let you know.

Susie, you said it all, this economy stinks. My poor son who has a college loan to pay and a degree has no job. oh he might get one waiting tables this week..
this is sad, these are the jobs for the school kids. not college grads.
My other son is scared to contunie his ED in fear for the same results. He will get his associates in genteral studies in Dec.
We need jobs.. that is al there is to it.

Hey all,
Got the H1N1 shot today.  Reg doc tomorrow and will get referals for more cortizone shots in my siatic nerves--can't stand it any more.  Then gi on Weds.  Had labs today before shot.
Still working on my one painting--a night time snow scene with a lot of perspective to work on.  No paintings for Christmas presents this year.  I really have to study the little picture I am painitng from and figure out how to get the effect I want.  Of course, the painting is never exactly like the picture, but that is why it is art and not a photograph!

Hi There - Well it looks as if the girls are back in town, plus EARL;)

My Herat's with you Dusty - It's hard to get the right perspective on a large or small piece  - all I can add it to check put the old masters. I've done a template on the computer, but so fine it is stll hard to see.

As fro the sciatic nerve - that's where my tx began - well right after anyway. I cried all the time and temporarily landed up addicted to oxys. But when the doc broke thru  it was like heaven. Still have to be careful about lifting, etc. But not so bad compared to what it was.

Kentucky - good to hear you are back too - winter weather/changes give headaches like crazy - I'v had the itchies.

Jan - hope you are getting some bang for your buck at the shows - tough crowds at these shows for real.

I HAVE STARTED TAKING TRAMADOL TO HELP COPE, AFTER SO MANY YEARS, IT HAS BECOME A CHALLENGE MENTALLY. I HAD AN MRI THIS YEAR THAT SHOWED DEGENERATIVE DISC DISEASE OF THE SPINE..I BELIEVE JAN GOT A CORTIZONE SHOT LAST YEAR FOR HER SCIATIC PAIN AND IT DID HELP. HOPEFULLY IT WILL HELP YOU TOO....
HOW MUCH LONGER DO YOU HAVE FOR TX? YOU ARE ON WEEK 43 RIGHT WITH 5 WEEKS LEFT? FINGERS CROSSED ON UP COMING LABS.. THAT IS WONDERFUL YOU ARE ABLE TO PAINT AND BE CREATIVE WHILE ON TX. THE MOST I DID WAS ALITTLE CREATIVE WRITING. I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT TAKING A CLASS THOUGH THE CITY. THEY OFFER WATERCOLOR AS WELL AS OIL PAINTING...

Hi everyone
I have been striaght out.
i got to get a lot of work done. My biggest show of the year is comng up this friday.
I don't have much help so its all on me to get my products.
i am dong fine. My back acts up here and there but other then that I am doing good.
I didn't get a cortsone shot for my back, i just took pain meds and staayed in bed. it took a month for it to subsie.
I hope your sciatic pain goes away faster then mine did. that really really hurt.it was scary. i thought it would never end, but it did.
Keep active it helps.

THE DOCTOR WANTS TO SEND ME TO A UROLOGIST TO DO A CYSTOSCOPY. I AM ALITTLE UNEASY ABOUT HAVING IT DONE...WE'LL SEE...RIGHT NOW WE ARE WAITING ON SOME TESTS TO COME BACK....
