Hello Jan, "CONGRATULATIONS" A NEW BABY GRANDSON, HOW WONDERFUL!!!
It is so nice to hear from you, I look forward to hearing how much he weighs, how long he is and does he have hair.... It's good to hear mom and baby are doing well too... Grin I bet you can't wait to see them!!!

They are still running tests on Mariah, she did an EEG and it showed high spikes as well as some low spikes. Which means something is going on. She's having quite afew symtoms that make it hard to cope, going to school ect... She did some bloodwork yesterday, we'll see when they get them back, where we go from there...

My mom has hit bottom again, she went home on Tuesday. One of my brothers took her, he is going to stay about a month for vacation there. She may come back with him, not sure, if she is to far down then she probally won't want to come. I just hope she isn't down like last year for five months on the couch.. No way to have to live...

As far as my tests, the renal ultrasound showed no blockage, which I already knew. My PCP wants a Cystoscopy done to check for bladder cancer and all the Urologist can say is we will get to that. So, I am going to see my PCP this morning to see what he thinks about how things are progressing. I am still in alot of pain and with my other issues with pain it has become almost unbearable. I have increased my pain meds to cope...

I am going to ask about doing my PCR today...

I'm glad Annie is happy in her new home, I know that must have been tough to let her go. We got Sophie spayed now and all her shots. She is a sweetie, but she has a mind of her own and doesn't listen to well sometimes...

Well, I have to get ready for my appt, Congrats again and maybe one day you will be called LaLa too....LOL

TAKE CARE
 Winona

P.S. After going to my appt with PCP, he is sending me to Stanford Medical Center up north. To see a Urologist there, to have the cystoscopy done... The PCP said he would call me in acouple of days with the appt time and day.. TTYL....

Hello Ladies, I hope this day finds you in good spirit....

Jan, Mariah finished her tests for the MRI with dye, EEG and bloodwork. She see's the Neurologist on March 1st for the results..
My mom is not doing well at all, she has hit bottom again, not eating and not talking. I call her everyday to let her know I am thinking of her and love her... As far as for me I am still in limbo waiting. Stanford never called, I have another appt with the urologist here on March 8th.
To do a follow up and hopefully he will sedule the cystoscope.. Thats incourging to hear your mother is doing well after 10 years...

How did the temp job go for you??? Good to hear Tracy and the boys are doing well, she has her hands full now.. And probally loving it.. Grin
Our grandson Ben is closer now, him and his mom moved to Montana last month. Scott is still deployed over sea's, he's half way finished with his six month tour now.. So, we are looking forward to meeting Ben this summer and seeing the other three grands and the kids of course, lol

I have been talking back and forth with Kentucky everyday, she is doing fine. Stiil no computer and no access to internet at work.
I haven't talk to Joyce in awhile, I need to call her... I have buzzed her, but no reply...
I'll give you a call soon and we can catch up...No one comes here much anymore, I miss our little group talks..

TAKE CARE
 Winona

March 2nd....
P.S....Mariah received her results, nothing showed to be abnormal..She did have alittle high Thyroid but Neuro said nothing of concern. Also her blood pressure was low.. So, I guess the next appt will be with a Cardio to see if they can find anything there...I have an appt for Cystoscope on March 8th.
TTYLater...

March 10, After all test were competed, I have been dx with IC/PBS. It is a chronic pain disease they know little about and can do little for..
I am on a med now to see if it gives me any relief, I will be taking it a month, then go back in.. Just one more chronic pain issue to deal with..OH JOY!!!   They also found where the urethra meets the bladder is restricted, so they are hoping the med will help that also..
TAKE CARE...

Hey friends,

Sorry to have dropped off the radar for the last few months.  TX just got to the point where I just had enough to deal with and did not feel like talking about it.  Inactivity caused my arthritis to get much worse, the last 3 discs in my back got out of line and caused my siatic paiin to be really unbearable.

Well, I finished all 72 wks. of round 3 anyway, despite the pain, the low red and white ( and blue ) counts-----I refuse to give up my sense of humor completely!  It has been about a month now and I feel much better all ready, more active, more energy, won't have any lab confirmation until Aug sometime, but am traveling and having fun anyway!

There is life after TX!  Never give up!

 Grin

God Bless,
Cathy

Dusty -

Sorry you're going thru that - it sounds painful and miserable. Been gone myself for a loooong while, tooo long. Ya stay away and there's a whole in your life.

It is summer so it may be fall till things pick up again - people have to be stuck inside for a while.

I hope the warm weather with a little less humidity helps unkink your joints.

Jan, I thought I would say hello here.... Grin
It was so nice to talk to you the other day...I'm glad sales have picked up this year for you at the shows...
Still no eggs from the hens, I'm starting to think they are not getting enough sun light...
Bummer!...Considering I spent my whole summer building coops for them... Undecided

I hope that things are ok there with Earl coming in to the coast..it looks like it will stay well formed and may cause some real damage..
My prayers will be with you All on the east coast...

Hey Winonia, gald to talk with you too! it was fun as always!!!!
So the hens finally started laying.. maybe the rooster is intruding?
Anyways good for you.. I hope they keep coming now.
We had many many eggs wihen we had our chickens. We could sell them.
No roosters here .
the weasles attacked them, then it was so much work we gave them away.
it was fo r us a messy ordeal. the whole yard smelled like a farm.
The chicken coop was in the sade making for a nice aroma. lol
We did ok weather wise this past storm.. not much happened, just some real nice waves at the beaches but you had to be careful.
The weather was cooler then normal. and a bit breezy,
so what did you do with the first egg that took so long to get?
Well hope everyone is alright, love, Jan

Hello Jan, I was begining to wonder if you were going to come by and post... Grin Good to hear you did ok with that last storm that come though.. We have been almost below temps all year here, it's been a nice summer all in all...no 100's for days on end..

My garden didn't do real well this year, it started off good, but has pretty much fizzled out..I canned some hot pepper, made some salsa and cut up some bell peppers to put in the freezer...My cherries ended up getting rotten after a late rain, the peaches got pit rot and my Apples got stung by moths...what a year! I want to plant some fall stuff, just haven't got around to it.. I would like to plant some things the chickens can enjoy though the winter..

I am really enjoying the chickens, they are fun to watch and keep the kids busy.. The two older girls Rosey and Molly are giving me an egg each, everyday.. Buffy and Lilly have another two months before they start laying..then I will have some green blue eggs to add to the brown..

I kind of miss building on the coops, it kept me busy all summer with something new to do each day... For never building anything, I am quite proud of how they turned out..One is a 6x7 foot, the other is 7x8 foot with inclosed runs so predators can't get to them.. I used all recycled materail and planned as I went..I did have to buy my hardware and wire mesh.. which was alot more than I thought it would cost..

The two roosters are somewhat a pain, but are so beautiful... One is a Buckeye and the other is a Rhode Inland Red...I may do some breeding later with my Americaca and Orpington...

How are your shows going? Are you able to make enough product to get though?

The grandkids are growing so fast, Bill wants to go and meet Ben.. They live in Washington state now.. He will be two in Feb...I don't think I will be going with him..I really not up for it, my health just isn't getting any better... I think we will get him a plane ticket to go tere sometime soon...He was talking about it the other day...

I hope to hear back from you, if not I will be calling...LOL
