I just approved her.
We have a little problem here (and it exists in virtually all forums) that we are constantly being hit with registration "bots" that fill our rolls with applications. The admins have to sift thru these and try to determine who is "real" and who isn't. Since we are all volunteers here we also have to work and other such nuisances.
Consequently, sometimes we don't get people approved as qucikly as we should.
IF you know people are "real" and applying give one of us a shout and it can/will speed the process since it will mean less work for us. (otherside we have to scrutinize IP's, providers, do a search of the e-mail, membername etc.------it can be a bit of work and even then isn't 100% sure)
Glad you posterd this and I'm glad I saw it before passing out the door to work.
best,
Willy

Oh, right, you mean the picture at Lands End. Oh shite, hope she can forgive me! Pictures often are misleading, aren't they? You didn't tell her, did you? Oh damn, now I'll have to explain myself! Tell her I have bad eyes or something.

Thanks for approving me, Dude, I saw the picture and your comment with my own eyes, which are not bad. Pixie does have better posture than I do - seeing myself standing next to her in the picture, I feel like I did look like an old woman, even tho I'm not.
Anyway, I'm here now, bygones.

P.S. - I did develop just a touch of paranoia when I was on treatment last year, made worse by being kicked out of another hepatitis forum.
So, I was concerned about not getting activated at once.

My first blunder of 2008... hope it's the last! So sorry, MYS, I really didn't look at it for more than a second or two and just assumed she'd have gone to the tip of England with her mumsy... I'm really not a horrible bloke, just get a bit slack with observation at times. You must want to give me the boot now.
Aside from being a total tool, I'd really like to welcome you in. Very nice to meet you, and had I met you first before saying something so careless I think maybe you'd find me a bit easier to accept. It's always great meeting new friends, and even greater to meet folks from other countries, and greater still to me extraterrestrials, prefferably the friendlies. Chrissy has been such a fun addition, and JB probably is watching me like a hawk (once again I jest, JB), and now you, what next, Ian Anderson? I'm swimming in all the joy of the three of you already, I can only imagine whats really next, aside from the sound thrashing you'll be giving me if we ever meet. Believe me, if you met me in person you'd see in what shape I'm in... I'm no kid anymore, that's for certain! But I do love a good time, so let's, shall we?
Perfectly grand to meet you, MYS! Please, no hitting in the face or below the waist. And go easy on my liver, it's still a bit tender.

Here's the first page of posts with photos of the Florida Heppers Camping Trip of 2007. You can see more on the subsequent pages.

If she's got a gun there's a nice indoor shooting range near here where you can go target shooting. It's air conditioned and everything is really new and mechanized. It's affiliated with some sort of police academy thing, and I used to go often because it was relatively cheap. When you come to Daytona, MYS, not sure if you can bring it, but if you can, which I doubt seriously because of all the insane security in airports here now, but
IF
you can we can go shooting there. Not sure why I even mentioned it since the chances of getting it through are slim to none, but there you go. At any rate, if you were in the area and you were going through a shooting jones you could use mine. I have a very nice Ruger .45 automatic and I'm a crack shot. Not to suggest that I go around shooting crackheads, just that I have great aim for an old fart with glasses. I was a marksman in the military.
Portia lives just north of Daytona and I think a couple of others here live up that way as well. I live south a few miles. If you like we could arrange some sort of thing, like say, meet. Lunch or whatever, and there's a big flea market in west Daytona. Just a thought.

Still trying out the controls here - got a message that said "Many apologies, but you can't view just any profile." or something like that, when I tried to find out more about a few people.
If I can't 'view just any profile,' exactly which profiles can I view???

Now that's a new one on me. Sounds like you need to aim that at Willy or Helen, or one of the many mods here. Willy, Helen? Anyone know whats going on there?
If you want to research me, I have a web page just there below my avatar (a link, actually), and feel free to browse it. I should warn you there are hidden links in there, so it's better while buzzed a wee bit, not that you're into that or anything. But if you are it's not a bad idea at all. If it's someone else you want to check on, their user data is usually linked below their avatar as well, but some folks hide some things, like email addresses, for personal privacy, or perhaps they're a bit paranoid or jumpy, or arguing with their schizophrenic other half.
