POST NO BILLS

« on: January 05, 2008, 09:43:51 AM »

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone has any "favorite" juicing recipes.  And if you do, what makes them your favorite.

Also,

I'd like to find out who uses juice as a part of a natural approach to better health, and what kind of impact, if any, juice has made in the way you feel.

With Treatments a week or so away, I decided to embrace my "meat & potatoes" approach to food by purchasing a juicer.  I bought it for the primary reason of adding wheatgrass juice to my food intake, but am now looking at a couple recipe books, and am trying several juices. I'm looking at nutritional content/value of the recipes along with flavor, and if the even sound good.

When I find good juice recipes, I'll post them here...

Thanks, and take good care,

Kerry

Thanks Willy,

I saw the 1st thread the other day, but not the 2nd.  it looks like there are a few darn good ideas there...gonna print out a couple of the juice recipes & give them a go.

Thanks again, my Friend.

I used to juice alot but my juicer is a real pain. Angry  Im so sorry I didnt ask Lars to buy me the one that has the bigger openeing so I dont have to cut everything up.  Undecided Now I know better and eventually plan to get a better one.
I dont have any favorite recipes, I just throw anything and everything in just tyring to make sure I get alot of good vitamins along the way, Though I admit to adding pineapple to just about everything I made  Grin but its cool cuz you can throw in all the stuff you just dont feel like eating very often and it all tastes good.  Smiley

Kerry, our Sams Club here has 2 different juices that I drink (only an ounce a day is recommended).1 is a Pomegranate juice and the other is a veg. with fruit all colors and kinds.  They are both good. very little sugar. ......Betty   I call it my little taste of wine.

I always seem to end up with carrots and celery in almost everything! Beets are also pretty cool.
When I was working out alot, I would take the juice I made and put it in the blender and add yogurt and protien powder to it. That was a treat!
