I thought I would post this, as it has been a great reminder to me as I deal with tx and all that goes with it, and others may find the same.

I asked God to take away my pride.
God said: "No. It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up."
I asked God to grant me patience.
God said: "No. Patience is a by-product of tribulations.
It isn't granted, it is earned."
I asked God to give me happiness.
God said: "No. I give you blessings, happiness is up to you."
I asked God to spare me pain.
Go said: "No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares
And brings you closer to me."
I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said: "No. You must grown your own,
But I will prune you to make you fruitful."
I asked God for all things, that I might enjoy life.
God said: "No. I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things."
I asked God to help me love others, as much as He loves me.
God said: "Ahh....finally you get the idea!"

Lee, I don't know where you found that but it is wonderful!!  Words to live by!  I would like to have that on a plaque for my desk.

Thank you so much for sharing that!
You stay in my prayers, Lee!

Hello dear friends,

So very glad it helped you all as it has me.  It is hard at times to remain focused on what is really important.  This was a very gentle reminder and one of great truth.

We all share so much here, in so many ways, following His words of loving others.  What greater testimony can there be?

Blessings and much love to you all,

Lee
