This is a good day.
Physically  and mentally,
you are worn and tired,
your body may ache, trying to take over.
Stop and think.
Appreciate the beauty of a smile,
the humor of a firend,
a song that reminds you of a memory,
the kind and loving company of family,
a fond childhood moment,
the beauty of a golden sunrise,
and of the red hued sunset,
the smell of rain,
the pleasureof an ice cream cone,
the whispers of snow as it falls,
the gentle comfort of the rise and
fall of the breathing of the loved one
lying beside you at night.
The ebbing of the ocean tide,
the music of the birds,
the wind blowing in the trees or
the gentle tinkle of wind chimes
as it softly touches them.
The beauty of the desert and
its evening light shows,
the surreal majesty of the mountains,
the deep blue of the sky,
the hug of a child,
a tender memory that brings tears.
Listen in that moment,
for the whisper of the Lord's
voice telling you, I know it is so very
hard sometimes, but with such
beauty and treasured moments,
how can this not be a
good day?

(((Lee)))

Absolutely loved your poem!  It gives me a glimpse into the upbeat attitude you exude in your posts of support and life.  Even on your "rough" days one can see that you are lifted by the Good Lord.  Blessings that you will always bare exultation, Lee.

Thank you so much Betty and Joyce.  I find it so helpful to me personally to just write.  I am not always sure if I should post, but then am always afraid that the one person that may need to know they are not alone in their feelings would not read it and feel a little comfort.  We all handle things in different ways for sure...I sometimes have a hard time with personal feelings and find writing is my outlet...I also figure too, if I post it hurts no one, and may help just one.  Makes it a blessing then to share.

Blessings to you both, such kind and loving souls that you are.

Mr. Pete....

Thank you so much...so glad it made you think of those special moments in your life....we all have them...and I truly believe we need to hang on to those moments...and regain our positives when we feel ourselves drained...

Please take care of you...and let us know when the appointment is.

Blessings always...
