Susie...has your doctor considered something like URSO to remove the excess bile that builds up during liver failure? I had to start that when my MELD hit about 13 due to severe itching that antihistamines didn't help or any kind of potion or lotions. The URSO was wonderful and I took it up until my transplant. Just something you might consider asking about. Maybe Rainbow could offer a better suggestion. Keep your spirits high...robin
