Dragons

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that was
going on inside himself.

He said, "My Son, it is between 2 dragons.

One is evil:

Anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, fear, superiority and ego.

The other is good:

Joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, trust,  empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and Faith

The grandson thought about this for a minute and then asked his
grandfather which dragon was winning.

The old Cherokee replied, "The one I feed."

Food for thought.... Grin

Alley:  I know that story....kinda.

My father used to tell this story.  "I used to have two pets; a puppy and an pet alligator.  Every day I  would come home and they would both be waiting to see me.  I would walk up to the puppy, and feed him, and he would wag it's tail and lick my face and play with me.  Then I would walk to my pet alligator to feed him, and everyday he would try to eat me!"  My father would then proceed to give me a lesson in business......

I have always liked the story and think of it occcasionally.  Not so much as it pertains to businesss but in a larger sense,  It can have to do with people that we associate with (even doctors! LOL), and habits; both good and bad, or even beliefs.  Thank you for bringing that up.  Do you notice both our stories have "dragons" in them?   But MY story has a pet alligator.  Wink

Best,
Willy

Leigha: it's all about choice and attitude
Awareness of our attitude, we talk about it on the boards all the time, that's why we always tell each other to be positive

XOXO have a nice day

 Alley,
Awareness of my attitude fits me at this point.Sometimes to be honest I'm not liking the person I'm starting to feel like. Lately i feel bitter,I was never like that All this is bothering me.I still always try to look at the bright side of things,I guess it's the pressure getting to me. But i feel angry sometimes. Well anyway i'm trying  to promise to pull myself up with the attitude.  talk soon  Leigha
