Let me check with Kerry on what the costs for the Positive Attitude Phone Conference is.  Once I have that figure I can break down that cost and the cost of the chat room into a monthly expense.   As far as the board upgrade, I believe this will be a one time expense and I'll check with Willy and Helen if they know what that cost is.

Let me check with Kerry to find out what the monthly cost of the Positive Attitudes Conference Calls are.  Once I have that I can take that figure and the cost of the chat room and come up with a monthly figure.  The cost to upgrade the board is a one time expense.  I think Willy and/or Helen might have that figure.  Anyway,  I'll check all this out and see if I can come up with a monthly figure.

Assuming that the chat program can be between $125.00 - $250.00 per year depending on the package we get.  There are even more expensive packages that go all the way up to $400.00 per year but we really don't have the need for those.  Therefore, the monthly cost would be between $10.41 - $20.83.   The conference calling for the Positive Attitude Meetings can be up to $45.00 per month.   

Hence, the monthly need for these 2 items is between $55.41 and $65.83.

OK...from your figures, Missy, it really is a small expense. Since I don't even know what the positive attitude meeting is about or who attends it (I did log on to it out of curiosty and it was empty), why does it cost so much more than the regular chat forum or even the monthly upkeep on the board? Speaking out of personal stupidity.  Keep your spirits high...robin

The Positive Attitude Meetings are done telephonically and they follow the 12 step tradition.  I believe Kerry has a thread under the 12 Step Forum that tells much more about them.  These meetings are open to all.  The Positive Attitude Room was opened so that the organizers of the telephone meetings could meet and get things set up.
