Let me think on that a bit

I was honored when asked to be a moderator here. I have been AWOL for the last couple months due to family and personal issues that have taken up all my * mind time*....but

I was helped so much while going through tx 4 years ago at the *HOOD* by many of the people that are now here on this board.....Doug, Missy, Helen, Robin, to name a few.
I never could have gotten through this without all of their help.

Now, after what I went through on tx, I can give back to those thay are going through it themselves. Using what I learned, how I dealt with it and watching what people post here.....seeing the desperation, confusion and helplessness that they are experiencing, I try to give advice.

Thanks to all here for letting me be a part of this forum.

Earl...would you like to channel some of your treatment rage (if you can remember how to do that) towards my drug company? I have been fighting for drug approval since Feb. 5 and am on my third appeal. So far, they have told the pharmacist no, my APN has done paperwork twice and been told no, and now my transplant coordinator is helping with the process. Any ideas? We don't qualify for any reduced meds so that's not an option...checked it too. Big smooooch to you and keep your spirits high...robin

Actually, I wanted to be a moderator so I could boot Robin when she starts acting up.
That's it in a nutshell

Robin,

I agree with Doug.  Consult a lawyer.  That's pretty much what it took for me to get Blue Cross of their ever lov'in rears.  Also, ask your doc if he would be willing to talk to his Roche drug rep to see if they will help.  I wasn't eligible for Pegassist either so my GI's drug rep just sent to the drugs to my GI's office.
