Hey Y'all and moderators, if this belongs in the classifieds (though I'm not selling anything) feel free to move and I'll continue to post with a smile.
I've started a web-blog with a lady that I met in a UK Liver Transplant forum. We both discovered online that we had received our transplants on Thanksgiving day and we lived in Arkansas. Together we decided to start a blog which we are hoping will benefit the cause of organ donation and inform about liver transplants. I'm trying to do a daily blog and address different things (including HepC) and anyone can post a comment or follow.
We are hoping to use this to promote the Liver Foundations, Liver Walk, we plan to attend participate in this spring in Nashville.

Robin,
I love reading your blog daily. It's very inspirational and I hope that someday you are able to meet your donor family. This is one very special Thanksgiving and you can be certain our gathering will be giving thanks for the miracle gift that was passed on to you.
Love ya,
Kat

Thanks Miss Kat...I appreciate it and everyone who has logged on, though I don't know who you are unless you sign up to follow the blog. I also want to say thanks for the suggestion of a post with my donor letter and that will come, just not right now. Crazy, I feel comfortable with you guys but I'm not "sure" who all might be reading the blog so I'm holding off on posting it. Love you and keep your spirits high...robin

I hope y'all will continue to check out our posts. I've added (actually my daughter is the keeper of the blog for everything but the posts) some extra music to make it more interesting when you read. Please post comments and you will need to scroll down it to catch the earlier posts. If you will sign up to follow it, even if you don't read it frequently, I can tell who has been there and I would like to know that information.
We will be solicting anyong near Nashville to join us in the American Liver Foundation Walk of Life this spring and I'll use the blog in order to help promote that.
Please offer any suggestions you may have. I know there are so many of you that have experience in web stuff so if you know of anyway to make the blog get more hits, please let me know. My e-mail addy is posted on my personal info page here and you can also reach me at
TeamThanksgiving@MSN.com
. That will be the name of our ALF walk team.
Thanks to you all and keep your spirits high...robin

Robin,
The blog is wonderful...I will be a frequent viewer for sure...such a loving tribute to family, donors and life....you and Debi certainly set a wonderful example for us all. Blessings and prayers to you both..your families and the donor families.

Thanks Lee...I hope you signed in because I have no way of knowing if people actually visit if they don't either comment or sign in. It's in it's infancy so maybe in the future it will help someone make the decision on organ donation easier. Keep your spirits high..robin

It makes you sign in like you are starting your own blog but it only gives you a name to use to sign in and post on my blog. Once you post there...you are blogging. LOL. Gee...you are doing things you didn't know you were doing, and doing it on treatment. Good for you my friend. Keep your spirits high...robin
